This meditation has been designed to quickly ground you back into the present moment. Sometimes if we are experiencing high levels of stress and/or anxiety, it is very difficult to come back to the present moment, the only moment that is available to us. I hope this meditation helps you ground and reconnect with your self.

Transcript

Welcome.

You are safe here.

This space is safe.

This meditation has been designed to quickly ground you back into this present moment.

I invite you to find yourself a comfortable position,

Allowing your spine to be straight and your feet flat on the floor if you are sitting.

And if not,

Pay attention to any parts of your body that are making touch with the ground below.

Take a deep breath in,

Filling your lungs with air,

And exhale very slowly,

Releasing any tension or stress from your body.

If it is safe to do so,

I invite you to close your eyes softly and bring your awareness to the present moment.

As you are breathing deeply and consciously,

I invite you to visualize roots extending from the soles of your feet,

Reaching deep into the earth below you.

Feel these roots grounding you.

Anchoring you in the present moment and connecting you with the earth's stability and support.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Give yourself permission to become fully present in your body.

There is no past.

There is no future.

There is nowhere to be and nothing to do.

Notice any sensations,

Emotions or thoughts that arise and just observe them without judgment or attachment.

Simply watch them with a sense of curiosity and compassion.

Now with each breath,

Repeat the following affirmations silently or out loud.

I am grounded and centered in this moment.

I trust in the wisdom of my body and intuition.

I release any tension or anxiety,

Allowing myself to fully relax and be present.

I am supported by the earth's nurturing energy,

Guiding me towards inner peace and clarity.

I am safe and secure,

Protected by the loving embrace of the universe.

I am worthy of love,

Abundance and joy,

Just as I am.

I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with myself and the world around me.

Now take a moment to feel these affirmations resonating within you,

Anchoring you in a deep sense of self-awareness and inner peace.

Allow yourself to bask in the warmth of these positive affirmations,

Knowing that you are deserving of all the love and abundance that life has to offer.

You are enough just as you are.

You are loved just as you are.

Ah,

This moment is safe.

Please stay in this moment for as long as you need to and come back to this meditation anytime you need a pocket of grounding.
