Quick and easy grounding meditation.
Start off by getting into a comfortable position,
Whether that's sitting up,
Laying down,
Standing up,
Whichever is most comfortable to you.
Start off by taking a deep inhale through the nose,
If that's available to you.
Inhaling deeply and filling up all the way to the top and at the top of your breath,
Holding for just a moment before exhaling fully and completely.
Take another three deep breaths just like that,
Inhaling completely,
Pausing at the top for just a moment and exhaling completely.
Take as many deep breaths as you need but now you may return to a normal breath.
Noticing the air flowing in and out of your nostrils or out of your mouth if that's how you're breathing.
Noticing the sensation of temperature when exhaling versus the cooler inhale.
On your next exhale,
Imagine your stress and tension melting away from the body.
Imagine roots are shooting out from the bottom of your spine deep down into Mother Earth's core.
See these roots growing stronger and coiling around the core of the earth,
Grounding into the earth.
And on your next inhale,
See in your mind's eye a bright ball of light above your head.
This bright light may appear as a color to you but feel the unconditional love,
Warmth and joy that is radiating off of this ball of light.
As you exhale,
Imagine this light expanding across your entire being.
Feel the energy of it surrounding your entire body and allow yourself to take a few deep breaths in this energy,
Feeling divinely connected and grounded.
Please feel free to stay here for as long as you wish.
But when you feel ready,
Start introducing some deeper breaths,
Becoming more aware of your body and your limbs,
Maybe wiggling your toes or fingers,
Slowly moving your head from side to side and you may blink open your eyes.
Know that you are always divinely connected.
