Alba Porras Hoyos

Alba Porras is passionate about supporting others on their journey to healing and self-connection. Her work is rooted in mind-body approaches, which she has been dedicated to studying and practicing since 2013. Along the way, she has had the privilege of learning from leading experts in the field of nervous system and trauma work. She is a certified provider of Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE), a Somatic Coach, and a Trauma-Informed and Nervous System Informed Practitioner, 500 RYT and YACEP Provider. Her certifications also include Nervous System Informed Practices, Trauma-Informed Yoga (Levels 1 & 2), Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Aerial Yoga, among others. These diverse modalities allow her to create a safe, compassionate space for individuals to reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous system, and embrace deeper levels of healing. Her approach integrates tools like mindfulness, somatic practices, and therapeutic yoga techniques to help clients reduce stress, release tension, and feel more empowered in their bodies. Whether through movement, stillness, or guided practices, her goal is to guide others toward greater self-awareness and inner resilience. She believes healing begins when we feel safe in our bodies again. She is here to support others on that path with practices that honor their unique journey. She looks forward to supporting clients on their journey back home to themselves.
