Plant the soles of your feet onto the floor,
Shoes or no shoes,
Whatever is available to you right now is perfect.
Close your eyes if you feel comfortable or just have them gently downcast and take a moment to notice your breath just as it is.
Now let's take three slow deep belly breaths together,
Inhale,
Exhale.
Inhale deeply letting the belly expand,
Exhale slowly.
One more deep breath in and a long soft exhale.
Bring your awareness to where your body meets the ground.
With each inhale imagine you are drawing energy up from the earth.
With each exhale imagine sending your own energy back down into the earth.
Breathing in,
Connecting,
Breathing out,
Grounding.
If you like gently count inhale for four,
Exhale for six.

Continuing with that breath feel yourself steady,
Supported,
Grounded.
Take one final deep breath in and exhale softly out the mouth and when you're ready you can gently open your eyes carrying this steady grounded energy with you into the rest of your day.
