Welcome to my safe haven meditation.

Find a comfortable position and a quiet place to sit or lie down.

Gently close your eyes,

Let's begin by taking a few deep breaths.

Inhale deeply and exhale slowly,

Allowing your body to relax.

Take a few more deep breaths and allow your breath to settle and find it's own natural rhythm.

Imagine that you are walking along a forest path.

You can feel the soft ground beneath your feet and you notice the vibrant colours of the leaves and the gentle rustling of the trees.

As you are walking,

Pay close attention to the sounds and smells that surround you.

Can you hear the birds singing?

Can you sense the gentle warmth of the sun as it filters through the treetops?

Gently embracing you as you walk along this path,

Are you noticing the smell of the forest?

A symphony of earthy fragrances that weaves through the air as you journey through the wooden realm.

You feel safe and peaceful,

Knowing that this path is leading you to your very own sanctuary.

Your safe haven.

Before long,

You find yourself standing at the entrance to the enchanted garden.

As you pass through the gate,

A soft ethereal light beckons from the far side of the garden.

Your curiosity leads you towards this mystical light and with every step,

You become more attuned to the enchantment that surrounds you.

The healing essence of this radiant light greets you from a distance and as you draw nearer,

You discover its source,

An enchanting tree house.

Right in front of the tree house,

A magical pond captures your attention.

The water shimmers with a rich palette of colours and as you peer into it,

Your reflection emanates a sense of tranquility and delight.

Slowly dipping your hands into the pond,

You instantly feel a surge of magic and healing energy flowing through your being.

It washes away any lingering tension or worries,

Leaving you in a state of profound relaxation and renewal.

Any stress or anxiety fade away.

Your journey continues as you move closer to the captivating tree house,

Your very own safe haven.

You walk through the entryway and up the stairs into the coziest room you have ever seen.

You feel peaceful and safe.

What can you see when you look around?

Are there any windows?

Any pictures on the wall?

Or any flowers on the table?

Can you hear any sound?

Perhaps the sound of the birds in the garden?

Or the wind rustling the leaves on the trees?

Perhaps you can hear a magical song being played out to you?

Or maybe the sound of absolute silence?

Breathe the air and notice any smell.

Perhaps there is a candle that is lit up with a gentle scent?

Or maybe the windows are open and you can inhale the scent of the forest from afar?

Spend a moment noticing every little detail of your safe haven.

Take a comfortable seat in the chair you discover in your safe haven.

As you sit,

Pay close attention to the profound peace that envelops you,

Releasing all anxiety,

Stress and tension,

Allowing you to breathe freely and effortlessly.

Now envision in your safe haven the presence of a benevolent and caring being residing within this haven.

This being is extraordinarily transcendent,

Possessing the calm and loving ability to assist you in any way you need.

Imagine who this personal helper might be.

Is it a character from a cherished novel,

A product of your imagination,

Or someone you know and trust,

An angel,

Or even an extraterrestrial being?

What is their name?

Take some time to get to know this being.

As our meditation draws to a close,

Remember in your heart that you can return to this sacred space any time you wish.

You have the power to access the healing energy of your safe haven whenever you need it.

With this awareness,

Slowly begin to stand up,

Leaving the room and descending the stairs of the treehouse.

Walk through the enchanting garden one more time.

As you make your way out of the garden,

Pause and turn to give it your deepest gratitude for the peace and renewal it has granted you.

As you walk away,

We carry with you a profound sense of contentment,

Inner peace,

Relaxation and safety.

To return to the present moment,

Start by gently wriggling your fingers and toes.

Take one more deep,

Grounding breath in and when you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes.
