Jennifer Barba

Jennifer’s diverse background and extensive experience in the field make her a highly respected professional in the world of adolescent and adult psychiatry. She is committed to helping children and families through their unique challenges, while providing them with techniques and strategies to move toward mental wellness. With over 30 years of experience she is a trusted expert in her field. She holds specialized training in trauma-informed treatment, addiction treatment, forensics, ERP, DBT and CBT allowing her to provide the best possible care to her patients. Jennifer graduated from the Simmons University School for Social Work with an MSW. She is the founder and CEO of Connecticut Healing Center. She provides comprehensive diagnostic assessment, individual, family, and group psychotherapy, focusing on anxiety, depression, treatment for ADD/ADHD, trauma, psychosis, mood disorders, addiction and advocacy and support for individuals across the spectrum. Jennifer was a member of Yale New Haven Hospital Psychiatry Department serving as the Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service overseeing the overall clinical and administrative operations of the service line, including all inpatient and ambulatory psychiatry programs. Jennifer founded and is the CEO of Keystone House Recovery homes. In honor of her brother, who died in 2016, she founded Matt’s Homestead Foundation which serves to provide support and essential resources for those in early recovery.
