Hello my friend and welcome to this meditation I'm proud of you for showing up for making the time in your day to give back to yourself and to spend some time with your inner wisdom with your inner voice if you haven't already feel free to close your eyes gently soften your gaze allowing yourself to find total relaxation let's take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale through our mouths another deep breath in signaling to our bodies that it is safe to rest safe to be still and exhale grounding into this moment my friend it is so important that we spend time giving back to ourselves and meeting ourselves over and over again throughout our lives we change into different versions of ourselves naturally because we age and we learn but often because of big events that take place like becoming a parent or a big move across the country or the world even starting a new job or a new career path can teach us a lot about who we are and bring out different versions of ourselves I invite you to meet that new version of yourself today say hello introduce yourself and start a curious conversation with her as if you're meeting a new friend deep breath in and exhale this new version of us may be scared or shy or unfamiliar with the landscape that we're in and it is up to us to be kind to this new us to treat them with care and with love to nourish them to learn their needs to be patient with them to remember that we're still learning each other many of us experience this intense transition when we have a child it's so easy for us to put all of our love towards that child but don't forget to put that love towards yourself as well deep breath in and release this new version of you she's new here too and she needs all the tenderness and support and understanding that you'd give to a new friend who's still learning their way I invite you to take a second and think about the you before this big change that just took place is there anything you feel you need to say to that person to the you before the change and say it to them now with your heart open and with gentle loving kindness and does the before you have a response for the new you or maybe just something else they want you to hear deep breath in and release there's a beautiful quote that says make peace with all the women you once were lay flowers at their feet offer them incense and honey and forgiveness honor them and give them your silence listen bless them and let them be for they are the bones of the temple you sit in now for they are the rivers of wisdom leading you toward the sea I invite you one more time to open your inner ears and listen to see if the person you were before this major change happened there's anything else they need to tell you deep breath in and exhale if you didn't hear this in your inner wisdom,
Just know you are doing great you are exactly where you need to be you have an abundance of internal wisdom that's going to guide you on this new adventure you are made for this and you will keep adjusting and growing and evolving to be the person you need to be in this moment I am so proud of you one final deep breath in and release slowly start allowing your senses to notice your surroundings come back to the here and now bringing this eternal wisdom with you as you move on throughout the rest of your day when you're ready feel free to open your eyes I see you,
