Explore MeditationKate has been teaching Yoga full time for more than fifteen years. She is a senior Yoga teacher and therapist working in the Viniyoga approach, an adaptable, breath-centred way of practising that respects the individual. Kate didn’t come to Yoga chasing bliss, flexibility or inner light. She came because nothing else had worked and she was out of options. With zero expectations (and a bit of side-eye), she gave Yoga a try, assuming it was just glorified stretching in soft lighting. The shapes didn’t do much, but the breathing did. That discovery changed everything. It taught her that the smallest, subtlest aspects of practice are often the most powerful. It’s this deep respect for the subtle, often overlooked power of the practice that now anchors everything Kate teaches: no nonsense, no posturing, just practical Yoga tools that actually work when life gets real. Her work focuses on gentle, accessible Yoga and breathwork for people living with fatigue, burnout, long-term health conditions or simply the general overwhelm of being human. She also mentors Yoga teachers who feel out of step with commercial wellness culture and want to teach in a way that is sustainable, personal and quietly radical.
