Welcome to today's meditation.

I can stop anytime.

Close your eyes and bring to mind a time you told yourself,

This is the last time.

Feel the weight of that moment.

Did it feel true when you said it?

Did it feel true in that moment?

How do you feel about it now?

Allow yourself to sink a little bit deeper into that feeling,

Into that moment.

Sense it in your body.

Now imagine a gentle wave in the ocean.

It rises,

It builds,

It crashes a little gently onto the shore.

Just like this,

There are moments where urges will rise within you.

Sometimes you might even tell yourself,

I can control this.

I can handle this.

I can stop this at any time.

But notice,

Does the wave stop just because you tell it to?

Or does it have its own force that's independent of your will?

If you could stop at any time,

Why does the cycle keep repeating?

Without judgment,

Just observe the scene before you.

There's absolutely nothing to fix in this moment.

Only something to see.

Simply something to just observe.

Allow yourself to take in the scene,

To notice how your body responds.

Where are the sensations?

Where are you holding the energy?

Just observe.

Breathe in deeply.

A cleansing breath.

A grounding breath.

And allow yourself to come right back to the present moment.

For today,

Just simply ask yourself,

What if I look beyond my justifications?

The answer is not in controlling the wave,

But in understanding its pull.

Why does the wave keep pulling at you?

Thank you for joining.

Bye-bye for now.
