Transcript

Begin by letting your body lie in bed,

Noticing the freshness of the morning,

The peace and stillness that comes with a new day.

As the sun moves over the horizon,

It's a magical time where you're able to access a deeper intelligence before the activity of your mind and your day begin.

Allow your breath to be slow and deep,

Enjoying every inhalation,

Enjoying every exhalation,

Appreciating the air you get to breathe on this beautiful morning.

If you'd like,

Take a deep stretch,

Maybe yawning,

Taking in some more air,

Feeling your heart beginning to open,

Taking your time as you come to a seated position in your bed.

Once seated,

If you'd like,

You can stretch your arms out and up as you exhale,

Bringing your hands over your heart,

Acknowledging the space you're creating to make the choice to open your heart to this day.

You can make that choice,

The decision is within your reach,

Silently affirming this intention to yourself.

Your palms might be facing up in a gesture to receive.

What is it that you'd like to receive today?

Is it love or abundance or confidence?

Silently whisper to yourself what it is that you'd like to receive for your day,

Feeling space between each of your vertebrae,

With the crown of your head reaching up,

Up towards the sky above.

Your shoulders are rolled open to expose your loving,

Receptive heart.

Breathing into your heart space,

Imagining vitality,

Light and love entering into the heart with each inhalation.

The exhalations circulates this light and love all around the body.

As it does,

It removes stagnant stuck energy.

It finds any blockages and creates a passageway so that the air can travel easily.

Your energy flows fluidly from the source,

Your warm,

Open heart.

You can visualize beautiful golden light beginning to circulate,

Penetrating into the cells of your body.

If there's a color to your light,

Imagining that color expanding as it fills up and around your heart space.

As it does,

It peels open the layers of your heart,

Inviting in compassion,

Self-love and understanding,

So that eventually,

You become a pinwheel of colorful light,

Spiraling out from the center,

Continuing with this magical breath for a few moments now.

Letting your breath return back to its natural rhythm,

Enjoying the natural expression of your breath,

Appreciating your body for being the vessel that receives this fresh energy,

Appreciating the time and attention you spend with yourself to start your day with a positive and conscious mindset.

In so doing,

You set yourself up to infuse every action,

Every decision with positivity and consciousness today.

And when an obstacle or a challenge arises in your day,

You'll have this foundation of positive,

Conscious stillness so that you're not reacting and you're able to respond with a deeper wisdom.

Every moment you practice presence in your meditation space,

You take the practice with you off your mat,

Out of your space,

Into your day,

As you interact with others,

As you experience the world,

Knowing that you've started your morning off in stillness,

In gratitude,

In light and love,

Remaining present to your breath,

Every inhalation,

Every exhalation.

Pretty soon,

Your heart starts to feel more and more open,

Your breath rhythm more and more even,

Your mind becoming more and more clear,

Feeling centered in yourself,

Connected within,

Knowing that whatever challenges you face today,

You face with optimism,

You face with a deeper presence and stillness within yourself,

Reminding yourself that every morning is an opportunity to begin again and open yourself to positivity and radiance.

As you take the time in space,

It originates within you and then expands all around you,

Sensing this expansive beautiful energy illuminating from within you,

Taking a breath in,

Placing your hands over your heart,

Honoring yourself for taking the time to awaken to this brand new day,

A golden opportunity to infuse radiance and joy at the beginning of your day,

Breathing in deeply,

Exhaling completely,

Stretching your arms out and up,

Ready to awaken and greet a brand new day,

A golden morning,

The love and light within you,
