You are enough.
Your truest,
Highest identity is infinitely complete.
Find your usual meditation position,
Either sitting down in a chair with a straight back and a straight neck,
And hands are gently placed on the legs,
Or you can be lying down comfortably.
Let's begin.
Close your eyes gently and take soft,
Slow breaths,
Preferably through the nose.
Sip the air gently,
There's no rush to get to the next breath.
Try to surrender to each breath and resist the urge to rush to the next exhale or to rush to the next inhale.
Soften the shoulders.
Relax the hands.
Soften the face,
The cheeks,
The jaw.
This meditation is called you are enough.
It's all about self-worth and recognising that the thinking mind is always looking for more.
And if we sink back into our broader awareness,
We are already enough.
We are already complete.
This meditation is all about recognising our true,
Deeper identity,
Which is enough.
And you will connect with that today.
Notice the feeling of the body,
The weight of the body as it sits in the chair,
Or the weight of the body on the bed.
Notice how the breath is gently moving in and gently moving out.
Just allow yourself to know and feel that there's nowhere else you need to be right now.
You're exactly where you need to be.
You're doing the right thing.
Chances are you've spent a lot of your life trying to become someone,
Trying to do more,
Trying to achieve more,
Trying to get recognition.
One or more or all of those things.
Here you are in this meditation and it's your opportunity to totally throw those desires away and sink into beingness.
Recognise that it's not easy to sink into beingness.
Take note of a feeling or a thought in your mind of not enoughness,
Incompleteness,
Not quite there-ness.
If we're really honest with ourselves,
The incompleteness of our mind is there to some degree.
This is the lower self.
This is the egoic mind.
And there's nothing wrong about that mind.
Although,
If we spend all our life living through that mind,
It automatically produces a sense of not enough-ness,
Inadequacy,
I'm not good enough-ness.
So see if you can find that part of your mind.
And once you have it,
Recognise that something sees this mind.
You can see that mind as if you were watching a movie on the TV.
Anything that is seen or heard or felt is an object.
It's not you.
This thinking mind of inadequacy and not enough-ness.
It's an object in front of you.
And you may ask yourself,
Well,
Who am I then?
You are the seer,
You are the listener,
You are the feeler.
Sink back into the seer.
Sink back into the listener.
For every object,
Sights,
Smells,
Flavours,
There is always a seer or a feeler or a listener.
And the trick is to remind ourselves that you're not incomplete.
You are enough.
Your most true identity is inherently complete and enough.
Rest in that awareness now.
As you go about the rest of your day or days of the week,
Just recognise that you will fall into the lower self mind.
This is very normal and we all do it.
But each time,
Give yourself the opportunity to enquire who's listening?
Who hears this voice?
Who is incomplete?
Who is not enough?
And you'll notice something or someone is watching and that's your highest self.
Have a great day.
