Hey guys!
Welcome.
Today we're going to be talking about being safe with yourself.
This is important because sometimes being by ourselves can be scary.
Silence can cause a lot of things to come up and sometimes we just don't feel like we may have the capacity to navigate all of that or may feel like I need a person to be there or someone else need is safety.
And although there's nothing wrong with community,
It's also important to be able to feel safe with ourself and know that I am enough.
There is a difference between being alone and lonely.
And so you can keep your eyes open or close them or look down to the ground to signal to the body that it's time to relax.
Notice the surface beneath you holding your weight.
You don't have to hold yourself together here.
Melt whether you're lying down,
Sitting or standing.
Just noticing what it feels like to be supported.
Imagine a version of you that feels calm,
Steady,
And grounded.
Not perfect,
Just safe.
Notice how this version breathes,
Stands,
Responds,
Stays silently.
I am learning how to stay with myself.
I don't abandon me anymore.
Let that sense of safety spread through your body.
Learning how to stay with myself.
And exhaling that I don't abandon me anymore.
Inhaling,
I am enough in this moment.
Exhale,
I release anything that makes me feel like I'm not enough.
Inhaling,
I am enough.
Even if I'm not where I want to be,
I am doing enough.
