Taking a deep breath now in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Relaxing your body,
Feeling the weight of your body supported by the ground beneath you.
Keep breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.
And as you're breathing,
I want you to put your hands on your heart and feel the warmth of your hands on your heart.
Breathing in to your chest,
Deep into your belly,
Allowing your mind to totally relax and let go.
As you're breathing,
Imagining this beautiful warm golden light emanating from your heart.
And as you breathe,
This light gets bigger and brighter until it consumes your entire body.
The deeper you breathe,
The more you are bathed in this beautiful golden light.
Relaxing now,
Every muscle in your body,
Relaxing and opening your heart,
Watch as you breathe.
Taking another breath in through the nose,
Holding the breath now for seven,
Six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
And releasing through the mouth for eight,
Seven,
Six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Again,
Focusing on this beautiful golden light on your heart and relaxing your heart as you breathe,
Keeping this beautiful breath going,
Holding for seven and releasing for eight.
You might want to keep this breath going for a few more moments,
Knowing that as you breathe,
You are right here,
Right now,
In the present moment,
Completely safe.
And I'm right here,
Holding space and breathing with you.
And going a little deeper with the breath in through the nose,
Holding for seven and releasing for eight.
Noticing how your body feels,
Noticing the movement of energy and emotion in the body and allowing,
Allowing your body to open and release,
Softening your heart.
Now,
I want you to imagine yourself as a little boy or a little girl between the ages of four and eight.
It might be a memory you have of yourself.
It might be a photograph or just a feeling.
Whatever comes to mind,
Please allow yourself now to place the sweet child over your heart.
Now,
I'm going to say some phrases and I'm going to ask that you repeat these phrases out loud,
Imagining that as you say each phrase,
You are looking deep into your inner child's eyes and repeating after me,
I love you.
I love you very much.
I love you unconditionally.
It is safe for you to be with me right now because I love you so much.
And I'm sorry.
I am so,
So sorry.
I know parts of your experiences have been tough.
I'm sorry if you ever felt alone.
I'm sorry if you ever felt misunderstood.
I'm sorry if you ever felt less than or that you didn't fit in.
I am so sorry.
I didn't take the time to really get to know you.
I'm sorry.
I tried to hide things about you that was so beautiful.
I'm sorry that you lost your innocence.
So young.
I'm sorry you didn't get the support that you needed.
I'm sorry you weren't shown unconditional love.
I want to give that to you now.
Please forgive me.
Please forgive me for not hearing you.
Please forgive me for not seeing you.
Please forgive me for silencing you.
Forgive me for not knowing how to care for you.
I know how to do that now.
And I won't give up on you again.
And I want to say thank you.
Thank you for your amazing gifts.
Thank you for your talents.
Thank you for your strength in spirit.
Thank you for your loving heart.
Thank you for your courage and bravery.
Thank you for your wisdom beyond your years.
Thank you for never giving up on us.
I am never going to give up on you.
You are safe.
You are unconditionally loved.
Thank you.
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
And taking a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Coming back to your body.
Coming back to your breath.
Coming back to the room that you're in.
Coming back now to the present moment.
Coming back now to you right here in this moment.
And when you're ready,
I want you to roll onto your left side and lie there for just a moment until you feel ready to sit up and open your eyes.
