Welcome to this guided chakra balancing meditation where today we'll take a gentle journey through your body's energy centers called chakras.

These are areas where your body and mind store different kinds of energy like confidence or love,

Expression,

Intuition and throughout the day these energy centers can become out of balance.

Things like stress or fatigue or small emotional ups and downs can shift how that energy flows throughout your body.

So just like a car needs regular maintenance to run smoothly our chakras benefit from gentle attention and care each day so for best results please ensure you listen to this daily as part of a self care routine.

This meditation is designed to help bring your energy back into balance so you can feel more calm and connected.

So when you're ready gently close down the eyes if you haven't already.

Find a comfortable upright position to allow the energy to flow.

Perhaps sitting upright on your bed or a chair or on the floor with support beneath you.

Resting your hands lightly in your lap or gently on your knees.

Just take a moment now to just come into the present moment.

Adjust so your body feels supported.

Letting your spine lengthen naturally.

Let those shoulders soften and unclench that jaw.

Simply allow yourself to settle in and once you're comfortable just begin to notice your breath.

Simply observe the natural rhythm of inhaling and exhaling.

Taking a deep breath in now in through the nose.

Holding it and out through the mouth.

Again taking a nice deep breath in.

Expanding your stomach and chest.

Hold and exhale through the mouth.

And you may find that with each breath you take your body relaxes a little more and your mind can follow gently at its own pace.

As you continue to just allow your breathing to return to its normal rhythm you may notice a soft sense of calm spreading through your body.

A soft sense of calm where you feel supported and settled.

And now I want you to bring awareness to your root chakra.

This is located in the base of your spine and is the center of stability,

Grounding and your sense of safety in the world.

And I want you to now imagine a deep red sphere of glowing red light.

Glowing steadily at the base of your spine.

Observe it and with each inhale feel this deep red orb of light start to pulse gently glowing brighter.

And with each exhale notice the glow,

That energy radiating through your hips,

Your legs and your feet.

And you may even sense some subtle sensations,

Perhaps a warmth or a tingling.

Everything is welcome.

As you feel the grounding energy slowly rooting you to the support beneath you.

Visualizing this deep red sphere of light gently glowing steady,

Going brighter with each breath you take.

And with each inhale you feel yourself drawing the energy of this red orb deeper into your body.

With each exhale releasing any tension or restlessness into the ground.

And I want you to silently repeat,

I am safe here.

Noticing your body's steady supported presence.

And now bring your attention just below your navel.

This is the area of your sacral chakra.

This governs creativity,

Emotional flow and pleasure.

Notice in this area a glowing orange orb now in your lower abdomen.

Notice it glowing gently,

Feeling the warmth and light.

And with each inhale feel this glowing orange orb pulse slightly brighter.

And with each exhale notice how the energy spreads throughout your lower belly and hips.

Encouraging ease and flow.

Noticing any lightness or warmth that arises.

And silently repeat,

I am open to joy.

I allow creativity and ease to flow.

Visualizing this glowing orange sphere of light.

Taking in the energy as you breathe.

Allowing it to grow brighter with each exhale.

And now bring your awareness to the area just above your navel.

Your upper abdomen area.

This is the center of the solar plexus.

Which governs your personal power,

Confidence and motivation.

And I want you to imagine this time a bright yellow orb glowing steadily in your solar plexus.

Noticing its warm light radiating.

And with each inhale feel this orange orb pulse brighter.

This yellow color energizing your core.

With each exhale allow this energy to flow throughout your midsection.

Strengthening your sense of inner power.

Again observing any subtle sensations.

Letting this energy awaken confidence and ease in your body.

And I want you to silently repeat,

I am strong.

I feel more capable with each day.

Visualizing this gentle yellow light expanding throughout this area.

And now bringing your awareness to the center of your chest.

This is the location of your heart chakra.

Your center of love,

Compassion and connection.

Bringing awareness to your chest,

To your shoulders and upper back.

Feel the natural rise and fall of your breath.

As you now imagine a soft green orb glowing steadily in the center of your chest.

As it expands slightly with each breath.

And with each inhale feel as this sphere of light pulses brighter now.

And with each exhale notice how its energy begins to spread softly across your chest and into your heart space.

Allowing compassion and calm to fill your chest and radiate outwards.

As you silently repeat to yourself,

I am open to giving and receiving love.

I am at peace.

Fully inhabiting this green glowing energy of the heart.

Taking a couple of moments here to feel that sensation of connection,

Of calm.

As you shift now your focus to your throat.

The area of self-expression,

Communication and clarity.

Allow your breath to flow naturally.

Sensing ease or tension in this area.

And now I want you to imagine a soft blue orb.

A sphere of light,

The color of blue glowing steadily at your throat.

As it pulses gently with each inhale and exhale.

With each pulse feel energy radiating throughout your throat.

Your neck and shoulders.

Creating space for clarity and ease in your voice and in your thoughts.

And now silently repeating,

I speak my truth with ease.

I express myself clearly.

As you visualize this blue orb of light gently expanding and clearing any tension in the throat.

Taking a few moments.

Really feeling into this blue sphere of light as it expands.

As we move into the space between your eyebrows.

The third eye chakra.

This is your center of intuition,

Insight and inner guidance.

Just notice your forehead,

Temples and the space around your eyes.

And now I want you to imagine an indigo orb.

A sphere of light glowing softly at your forehead.

As it pulses gently with each breath.

With each inhale this orb of indigo light brightens slightly.

With each exhale its energy radiates across your forehead.

Your temples inviting calm focus and insight.

Noticing any sensations it may bring up.

Quiet vibration or stillness in your mind.

As you silently repeat,

I trust my intuition.

I am clear and focused.

Taking a couple of moments now to just take that in.

This beautiful indigo orb of light slowly increasing in size as you breathe.

And now bring your attention finally to the top of your head.

This is your crown chakra.

Your center of higher awareness,

Connection and peace.

Just notice the crown of your head and the space above it.

And I want you to imagine a soft violet orb glowing steadily at the top of your head.

As it again pulses gently with each breath.

With each inhale feeling the orb brighten slightly.

With each exhale sensing the energy radiating upwards and outwards.

Connecting you with calm awareness.

Noticing any subtle sensations this may bring.

A sense of openness,

Connection,

Just a gentle flow of energy.

As you silently repeat that I am connected.

I am open to higher awareness.

Pausing here for a few breaths as you visualize this beautiful violet sphere of light.

And now take a moment to feel your body fully supported.

Notice the subtle glow of all of your chakras now in alignment.

Steady and harmonious.

Letting your awareness rest in your body.

Knowing that you can take this calm and balance with you as you continue with the rest of your day long after this meditation is complete.

And now gently just bringing your attention back to the room.

Noticing any sounds around you.

And when you feel ready just wiggle your fingers and toes.

Stretching if you like as you gently open your eyes.

I'd like you to gently thank yourself for taking this time to nurture your mind and body today.

To take this sense of balance,

Energy and calm as you continue throughout the rest of your day.
