For this calming reset,

Begin by tuning into your body and your breath,

Gently dropping out of the mind,

And maybe for the first time today,

Into your body,

Noticing your breath if it's fast or slow,

Where it begins and ends,

And staying here for a few moments,

Simply witnessing and being present with your breath,

Gently shifting out from your breath,

Out from your body to the space about a foot around you,

Moving your senses toward your energetic field,

Feel into the energy that pulsates all around you now,

And notice how any emotions,

Feelings,

Or frustrations may be moving around this energetic field,

How this outer layer is deeply reflective of what's happening within,

We're going to lovingly shift this energy now to surround ourselves with calming and tranquil light,

Bringing your hands to your heart or your belly,

Feel into the breath again,

And start to deepen it,

On the inhale,

Envision calm,

Peace,

And tranquility entering your body,

And on the exhale,

Releasing anything that is no longer serving you,

Each breath like a cleansing wave through the body,

Creating space around you and within you,

Inviting you to float in an energy of calm,

Shifting gently,

Feel into your feet grounded on the floor,

Or if you're lying down,

Your body grounded to the mat or bed,

Let each breath support you,

As you release tension in your forehead,

Around your eyes,

Your cheeks,

Your jaw,

Both hemispheres of the brain,

Like muscles relaxing and letting go,

As you release through your groundedness into the earth beneath you,

Letting it absorb any tension you need to let go of,

Releasing tension in your shoulders,

Arms,

Hands,

Hips and lower back,

Legs,

Feet,

Your whole body releasing into a relaxed state as you let the earth absorb it all,

Let yourself melt,

Held by the earth and cradled by your steady breath,

A breath that invites a sense of peace to begin to bloom within you,

Shifting your breath now,

You're going to inhale for 4,

Hold for 7,

And release for 8,

As you inhale,

Invite the tranquil breeze of the breath to move through the body,

As you hold,

Gather up any stress or tension,

And as you extend the exhale,

Gently release on the wind of the breath,

Anything you want to let go of,

Inhaling 1,

2,

3,

4,

Hold 1,

2,

3,

4,

5,

6,

7,

Release and let go,

1,

2,

3,

4,

5,

6,

7,

8,

These winds moving relaxation toward you,

And blowing any stress or tension far,

Far away,

As you continue on your own for a few moments,

You can release this breathing pattern,

And return to a normal breath,

And in this last phase,

Envision as you inhale,

The crown of your head opening,

And the most beautiful light of calm and tranquility entering through the crown,

Illuminating each part of the body as it moves through,

And shining with pure relaxation,

And as you exhale,

See the light that you create as sparkle and swirl around you and within you,

Glowing like the sun,

Warming your energetic field in this calming light,

Stay here for a moment or two,

Breathing into your illuminated body,

And relaxed and at peace as you bask in the glow of this shift you've created for yourself,

Taking a moment as we did at the start,

To tune back into the body,

And the energy around you and within you,

Noticing any shifts from this time you've carved out for yourself,

Remember it only takes a few moments to bring yourself a greater sense of peace and calm,

Through the power of your breath and your intention,

Closing now,

Bringing hands together up to the third eye to see clearly,

Down to the lips to speak our truth,

And to the heart to move forward from a place of love,

Light,

And peace,

Wishing you calm,

Relaxation,

And tranquility.
