Haris Abdagić is a musician, composer, and meditation sound creator from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is also a graduate librarian and comparative literature scholar whose artistic work explores the meeting point between music, storytelling, and inner experience. Over the years, his work has gradually moved toward the contemplative dimension of sound and language. Through music, guided meditations, reflections, and lectures, he explores themes such as awareness, inner silence, imagination, and subtle states of the human mind. Many of his works are inspired by the mystical heritage of Sufism — a tradition where poetry, music, and spiritual insight naturally intertwine. In that spirit, Haris creates meditative soundscapes, instrumental music, and guided contemplative practices designed to support relaxation, reflection, and deeper presence. Haris has recorded several instrumental and vocal-instrumental albums, both solo and with his band Balkaneros Banditos, reaching more than 60,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. He has collaborated with musicians including Joan Baez and Hüsnü Şenlendirici. Alongside his artistic work, he teaches guitar at the Sarajevo Pop Rock School and shares music, meditation, and contemplative storytelling as an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with the quiet inner space of awareness.
