Acceptance practice.
The purpose of this meditation is to develop radical acceptance of what is.
Sit comfortably and close your eyes.
Take several deep breaths.
Acceptance doesn't mean you like everything or that you stop trying to create change.
Acceptance means you stop fighting reality.
Right now,
In this moment,
Things are as they are.
Can you accept this?
Your body is as it is right now.
Can you accept it?
Your emotions are what they are.
Can you accept them?
Your life circumstances are what they are.
Can you accept them?
Resisting what is creates suffering.
This shouldn't be happening.
I shouldn't feel this way.
But it is happening.
You do feel this way.
Acceptance is the first step to peace.
From acceptance,
You can choose your next action.
But fighting reality exhausts you and changes nothing.
Breathe and practice acceptance of this moment exactly as it is.
Open your eyes with acceptance.
