Begin by settling into a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down,
Allow the eyes to close and your whole body to soften.
Take a slow,
Deep inhale and a slow,
Deeper exhale out,
Let the muscles of your face soften,
Your whole body softens,
More and more with each breath.
Now bring your awareness to the body,
Softening each part of the body,
Starting with the feet and toes,
The ankles,
The legs,
Thighs,
Hips and back,
Your stomach,
Chest,
Your shoulders softening,
Your arms,
Hands,
Fingers,
Feel the neck softening,
Jaw softening,
Your mouth,
Tongue,
Eyes,
Forehead,
The whole face softening,
The upper body softening,
The lower body softening,
Whole body softening.
Take a few more deep inhales and exhales,
Resting in this stillness,
When you feel ready,
Slowly bring your awareness to your surroundings,
You may wish to wiggle your fingers and toes,
Stretching your body gently and when it feels right,
Softly open your eyes,
Carry this feeling of softness and peace with you as you continue your day,
Knowing you can return to this quiet still place whenever you need.
Namaste.
Namaste.
