Welcome,

Welcome.

This meditation is meant to get you ready for a productive session,

Whether for the next hour or two,

Or the whole day,

As you begin work in your home office.

Perhaps you're already sitting in the spot where you work,

Or you're about to make your way there.

Either way,

As you sit in your workspace,

Feel your backbone grow taller,

Stretching to its full length.

Feel your shoulders relax down to their most comfortable position.

Close your eyes if you can,

Or soften your gaze if that's better for you.

Notice now your inward and outward breath.

Know that you can come back to your breath at any moment during your workday.

Feel a sense of the gravity holding you in your chair.

Feel your body as it rests comfortably in your seat.

And notice that you are supported.

Just like the chair that's holding you now you are supported as you work by your mind,

By your talents,

By your curiosity,

And by your willingness.

Just like the gravity that allows you to sit,

You are upheld as you work,

Upheld by your heart,

By your commitment,

By your dedication,

And by your awareness.

Know that you can rely on all of these parts of yourself to move you forward with each task you work on.

Know that you can trust your intelligence to guide you onward in recognizing what needs to happen next.

Know that you will not sacrifice your wellness as you work.

You'll take breaks when you need to.

You'll move around to stay limber and drink water as often as you want to.

Recognize that you can trust yourself.

You've got this.

Now,

Focus on your breath once more as you inhale deeply and exhale fully three times.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes,

Refocus your gaze,

And come back to this moment.

May you have a delightful and productive day.
