Hey namaste,
And welcome to this anxiety release meditation that will help you release the worry about the future and live in the present moment.
Let's begin.
When you're ready,
Come into a comfortable position,
Any shape that allows for your spine to stay straight.
And as you're making yourself comfortable,
Bring your attention to your breath.
Gently notice where you're feeling your breath right now.
Begin to lengthen your breath,
Breathing deeply and fully into your belly,
And slowly exhale.
Let's do that again.
Breathing deeply into the belly,
And then slowly exhale.
Continue to enjoy the feeling of your breath,
Traveling down to the belly,
And observe any pressure or any sensations that you may feel.
Allow your body and your mind to settle.
You deserve this time of relaxation to just be.
Let's take another deep breath,
And bring your attention to your mind.
Stay here and begin to observe your thoughts.
Many of your thoughts may be stressful or anxious.
Reduce the amount of stress as you continue to breathe in and out.
As you breathe deeply and fully,
Observe your mind,
And stay here without judgment.
Just observe.
As you observe your thoughts,
Know that they are just the stories that you're telling yourself,
Or the stories that others tell you.
Take a deep breath in,
And remain detached from your thoughts.
Just observe them without any attachment.
You don't need to stop your mind,
Or find the meaning of your thoughts.
Begin to experience less stress as you breathe in.
Deep breath,
And shift your attention to your body.
Observe any sensations you may feel here.
You may feel pressure on your forehead,
Or your chest,
Or you're physically stressed.
Just allow the breath to go directly into those spaces where you feel pressure,
And give them permission to let go.
Give them permission to relax.
Give your body full permission to just be here,
Enjoying this beautiful moment,
Enjoying the sensations of your relaxing meditation.
