We're gonna drop right in today.
However you're feeling,
Wherever you're at,
Wherever you are,
I invite you to sit or lay down,
Closing the eyes or softening your gaze,
Beginning to settle in and just noticing your breath flowing already without your awareness even.
It's always there.
Witness it without trying to change it.
Notice the in-breath.
Notice the out-breath.
Notice your in-breath and notice your out-breath.
Slowly begin to lengthen your exhales.
Slowing them all the way down.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Breathing in.
Pausing at the top between the inhale and exhale,
And exhaling out the mouth,
Releasing.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Sigh out.
Release.
Stop.
Release any tension.
Release anything that does not serve you.
Breathe into those spaces.
The places that are tight and asking for some breath and some expansion.
Fill your body root down.
Strong in the back but soft in the front.
Inhaling.
Expanding.
Holding.
Releasing.
Exhaling.
Letting go.
You are here.
And only here.
And nothing is being asked of you.
Continue to breathe in.
Expanding.
Feeling it.
Reach into all the edges of yourself.
Pausing between inhale and exhale and experiencing the peace and the breathlessness.
And exhaling a surrender,
A coming back to yourself,
A feeling yourself in space,
Softening your edges,
Freeing yourself of everything that is holding you back.
Everything that constricts you in your mind,
Your body.
Freeing your cells.
Freeing every version of yourself with breath.
Washing.
Revitalizing.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Such a simple act of self-care that makes a profound difference.
