Close your eyes.
Free your mind.
Let go of the day ahead of or behind you.
Let go of your to-do list and your plans.
Nothing is more important than being here in this moment together.
Listening to my voice.
Allowing your mind to be free.
Let your body relax.
Let your jaw unclench.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let yourself breathe deeply and slowly and audibly.
Allow the tension from your day to dissipate.
Allow your thoughts to disperse.
Be free in this moment.
Just with me,
Close your eyes and see the darkness behind your eyelids.
See the reflection of your mind coming back to you on this screen.
Projected against your eyelids.
Become aware of the jumble of your mind.
The jumble that is your thoughts,
Your worries,
Your anxieties,
Your plans,
Your lists,
Your fears,
Your doubts.
This jumble of all things may feel messy,
But it is organized.
It is put away in a box,
A clear cube.
Everything is in here.
There's no openings,
No lids,
Just edges.
A clear container,
Keeping your jumble,
Your thoughts,
Your distractions,
Your busyness inside.
You can see them.
You can hear them.
But they're in that box,
That container away from you,
Separate from you,
From your being,
From your mind.
Just there,
Stagnant.
Breathe deeply.
Breathe slowly.
Allow yourself to drift further away from this box.
With each breath,
You float farther away.
With each breath,
You become more relaxed.
With each breath,
It becomes harder to see the jumble,
Harder to hear the jumble,
Harder to make out that box.
Breathe in and hold,
Then release,
Allowing yourself to let go of the attachment you have to this box,
To your jumble.
Breathe in and out,
Getting further from busyness and closer to peace.
You feel tranquility,
A soft wave of calm pours over you,
Envelops you,
Relaxes you.
You feel that you are capable of experiencing peace,
And calm within your mind at any time.
You simply have to distance yourself from the jumble.
Now relax,
And feel this peace for as long as you need.
Then come back to your presence.
Feel your body and your mind.
Move your body.
Reconnect.
Reawaken.
Open your eyes,
Slowly,
And keep this state of peace and calm,
Without the busyness,
Without the jumble,
For as long as you would like.
