Welcome to day 5 of the morning meditation challenge.
Today we're going to start with an energizing breath work.
So just follow the sound of my breath.
Ready?
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
In through the nose.
Out through the mouth.
Good,
Take a really deep inhale.
Hold the breath coming into breath of fire through the nose.
And let go.
Relax.
And make an O shape with your lips like you're about to sip through a straw.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
In through the mouth.
Out through the mouth.
Imagine you're sucking in the energy,
Sucking in the breath deep into your body.
Drawing the breath down to the belly.
Taking in even more air.
The deepest breaths you've taken all month.
Good,
Keep going.
Three more.
Last one here.
And take a really deep inhale.
And hold your breath.
Relax your forehead,
Your shoulders.
Feel yourself filled up with this energy.
Let it spread through every inch of your body.
And ever so slowly with control,
Keeping in the energy but letting out the breath you exhale.
And come back to your natural breathing.
Letting your body rest and rejuvenate as you feel yourself expanding outwards in all directions.
Really nice.
And just release your meditation.
Starting to bring yourself back to the space that you are in.
Bringing some movement back to your body,
Maybe a stretch,
Maybe a wiggle of fingers and toes.
Anything that feels good coming back to the space.
And remember,
A deep breath is an act of self love.
So let's breathe in slowly.
Pause and hold your breath at the top to feel that love.
And then exhale slowly,
Spread it out to the world.
