Life can get very busy and so can our mind. Taking time to stop in the moment to pause your thoughts, regulate your emotions, ground your body, and reconnect with your breath, is a powerful way to feel refocus and realign.

Power break meditation.

Stop what you are doing right now.

Just give yourself a minute or two to take a break in your day.

If you are not already sitting down,

Choose a quiet and comfortable place to sit for the next two minutes.

When you feel ready,

Close your eyes and turn your attention to your breath.

Notice the natural rise and fall of your belly,

Simply observing your breath.

Open your eyes now,

Look well beyond your current perspective.

Choose to focus on an image in the distance.

It could be a painting on a wall,

The water in the distance,

A tree,

Anything that is just beyond the current perspective.

Turn your attention to that image.

As you stare at this spot for several seconds,

Observe the natural rise and fall of your belly.

Close your eyes tightly now and hold them,

Hold them tight for one,

Two,

Three seconds and then open and observe that image in the distance.

Shut your eyes tightly again for one,

Two,

Three seconds and then open and step rightly at that image in the distance.

For one final time,

Shut your eyes tightly for one,

Two,

Three seconds then open,

Gazing at that image in the distance.

Just allow your eyes to gently close again for one last final time as you simply observe your breath and the natural rise and fall of your belly,

Taking this moment to have a break in your day.

When you feel ready,

Gently open your eyes and resume to your day.

I really liked this meditation. The strong guidance made it feel similar to hypnotherapy. And the classical music was a nice, unique touch.
