The benefits of barefoot grounding help balance circadian rhythm leaving us feeling less stressed. When in direct contact with the earth the body absorbs the negative ions on the earth's surface. These ions enhance our health and lead to positive feelings in the body. Take the guided meditation out to the beach and or park with you. Enjoy!

We go through the day with our busyness.

Sometimes we lose track of time and wander far ahead of ourselves into the future.

When we do this,

We tend to leave our body.

Our energetic body becomes anxious,

Nervous tension rises.

This guided grounding meditation offers to bring us back into our body,

Grounded in the present moment,

Where we can physically take our day one step at a time,

Without losing ourselves to quake into the future.

You can use this meditation outside barefoot on the ground,

Grass or sand.

Or you can simply visualize the earth beneath your feet.

The benefit of earthing our feet on solid ground involves releasing the buildup of positive charges from our day.

Let's begin.

Take a moment to center yourself.

Take a deep,

Slow inhale and slowly exhale while relaxing the body.

Continue to breathe with your natural rhythm.

Tightening your spine and fixing your posture.

Continue to breathe slowly and deeply.

Relaxing your neck,

Your face,

Your jaw.

Rolling the shoulders back,

Gently press your shoulder blades back,

Relaxing the arms.

Sway side to side to loosen the tightness around your hips.

Relax the knees with a slight bend.

Release any tension in the legs.

Feel your feet press against the soil,

The ground,

The grass or the sand.

As you do this,

You are releasing the static electric buildup of the positive charges and discharging it back into the earth.

Sending negative charges from the earth back up the soles of your feet and back into your being.

These negative ions help support and maintain wellbeing.

Take another deep,

Slow inhale and press and dig your feet into the ground.

Feeling the earth's pull grounding your body.

Take your time here to feel the sensation to your feet,

Up your legs and to your whole body.

Become mindful of the present feelings you are releasing and receiving.

As you release tension in your legs and your feet,

Keep pressing firmly onto the ground.

Slowly wiggling your toes,

Make yourself comfortable with the earth as you connect,

Tuning into nature's gift.

Feel all the pressure,

The stress of every day,

Letting go,

Falling off your shoulders,

Off your back and your body.

Keep taking those slow,

Deep inhales and exhales.

Keeping our feet helps release stress hormones,

Shifting us from flight or fight response and bringing us back to rest and digest mode.

Feel the stress come off your body as you become more energized and revitalized by earth's negative ions.

It feels nice letting it all go.

It feels uplifting connecting back to earth's natural energies.

Are you beginning your day or maybe you had a long day?

Whatever it is now,

You are ready to tackle the day and or rest after a long day.

Feel free to stay here as long as you like,

Connecting to earth or come back to this guided grounding meditation to help support you at any time.
