Thank you for joining me for today's guided meditation.

I'd like you to begin by finding a comfortable seated position.

When you're ready,

Gently close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

Feel the chest expand as you inhale,

And allow yourself to fully relax with each exhale.

As you sink deeper and deeper into relaxation,

Feel the support of the earth beneath you.

Bring your attention to the sensation of your body touching the ground.

Feel all the little points of contact,

Your feet on the floor,

Your seat on the chair cushion.

Visualize roots growing from the soles of your feet,

Anchoring you to the earth.

Imagine these roots as they extend deep and deeper into the earth,

Reaching down through the layers of soil,

Growing around the layers of hard rock,

And drinking in nourishment from the pockets of water.

Feel these roots connecting with the energy from the earth's core,

A steady and nurturing force.

With each breath,

Imagine that you are drawing up this energy from the earth through the roots.

Visualize the energy as a warm,

Golden light flowing up through the roots and into your body,

Filling you with stability and strength.

As you continue to breathe,

Feel this energy spreading throughout your entire body,

From your feet up through your legs,

Swirling around your torso and into your arms,

And finally your head.

Allow this energy to wash away any tension and stress,

Leaving you feeling grounded and centered.

Take a moment to bask in this feeling of stability and protection.

Notice how it anchors you in the present moment,

Allowing you to let go of any worries of the past or the future.

When you're ready,

Bring your awareness back to your breath.

Take a few deep breaths as you feel the air enter and leave your body.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Carry this sense of grounding and stability with you as you continue through your day.

And just know,

You can return to this meditation whenever you need.
