I would just like to read you some excerpts from my new book.

Your body is a portal to your soul.

Your body has the answers.

Make it your best friend for life.

So this is from the introduction.

Most humans have a fraught relationship with their bodies.

They believe they aren't slim enough,

Young enough or wrinkle free enough.

Their belly,

Bum,

Thighs or shoulders are too big or too small.

They feel too tired,

Not sexy enough and so on.

Many companies make big profits from people feeling physically inadequate and insecure.

These companies actively encourage this mindset by continuously showing us airbrushed images of already exceptionally beautiful people.

As a result,

We hate our bodies or treat them harshly with exercise,

Chemicals or even surgery to make them live up to this image we have of our ideal physical self.

We force our bodies to feel a particular way with excessive exercise,

Dieting and prescription or recreational drugs.

Or we flee our physical world altogether by losing ourselves in our screens.

We feel angry,

Betrayed and hurt when our bodies stop working the way we feel they should.

Start hurting or get sick.

We have forgotten how to listen to our bodies and understand the signals they give us about what they need to thrive.

Most people do not know what it feels like to feel good in their bodies.

This mindset does not serve us at all.

Read on to explore how we can rediscover our bodies' messages and create a relationship of respect,

Joy,

Caring and love with our bodies.

We learn just how powerful we can be.

Your body is your best friend for life.

The only being you are absolutely guaranteed to spend your whole life with is your body.

Your body loves you in the same way you love nature or God or the starry night sky.

Your body wants to have a loving relationship with you.

Your body wants to thrive,

Feel happy and go on adventures with you.

You might as well make your body your friend.

Love your body back and care for it with wonder and gratitude.

Your experience of life will be so much richer and enjoyable for it.
