Namaste and welcome.

Today my topic is failure.

I think that you can probably guess what I'm going to say.

That there is no failure.

That we learn more from our so-called mistakes than we do from the perceived wins.

We know this.

Instinctively and experientially we know this to be true.

But even knowing it doesn't stop the hurt.

Not getting what we want or expect still really,

Really hurts.

It's embarrassing.

It makes me want to hide.

And today we are going to let it hurt.

We are going to lean in.

I want us to take just a small amount of time.

Only about two minutes.

To accept that it hurts and to allow it.

To allow whatever stories and emotions surface.

So that we can choose to move on.

To keep going.

This is a technique that has helped me many times.

That is why I am sharing it.

I hope it helps you too.

I'll go first.

Just so you know what to do.

I have trauma.

Some of it is my own and some of it is inherited.

It has caused me to use defense mechanisms that end up alienating me from a world that I love and from whom I know I'm meant to be.

It's not fair.

I have crippling anxiety.

My children hurt and I can't stop it.

Sometimes I'm even the cause of the hurt.

This was not the plan.

This isn't what I want.

My marriage fell apart.

I've had to take work that can make me feel depleted.

Life can be so hard and I am so tired.

I hurt.

Now it's your turn.

Before we make a choice together to take a new direction.

Two minutes.

I just feel what comes.

I'm sorry.

Now,

Let's come back.

Without dismissing the hurt,

Let's remember that so-called failure is our guide and teacher.

Let's try to understand the lessons.

Let's remember that we are so strong.

Let's stand back up.

The world is still beautiful.

It didn't stop.

It is a crisp fall day at this moment in time and space where I am.

The air is fresh.

The sky blue with wisps of white cloud.

The trees are a sea of vibrant red,

Orange,

And yellow.

There is still so much love and so much abundance any way that you turn.

Now close your eyes.

Notice the sounds around you.

Notice your breath.

Here is our mantra for today.

My path is unfolding just as it is meant to.

The universe supports me.

This hurt,

Too,

Shall pass.

My path is unfolding just as it's meant to.

The universe supports me.

This hurt,

Too,

Shall pass.

My path is unfolding just as it's meant to.

The universe supports me.

This hurt,

Too,

Shall pass.

Now continue in your mind.

My path is unfolding just as it's meant to.

My path is unfolding just as it's meant to.

The universe supports me.

This hurt,

Too,

Shall pass.

When your mind wanders,

As it will,

Just come back.

Come back to your breath.

Come back to our mantra.

My path is unfolding just as it's meant to.

The universe supports me.

This hurt,

Too,

Shall pass.

My path is unfolding just as it's meant to.

My path is unfolding just as it's meant to.

My path is unfolding just as it's meant to.

My path is unfolding just as it's meant to.

The universe supports me.

This hurt,

Too,

Shall pass.

The time has come to slowly open your eyes.

Use some gentle movement back into your body.

A few neck circles might feel good.

Maybe a few shoulder rolls.

Let's get back to the world.

Let's shine bright.

And please remember,

You are on the right path.

Thank you for listening.

Namaste.

Really appreciate you sharing your personal story. And it is much more common unfortunately than we think. Be strong 💪

Thank you so deeply! I truly appreciate your honesty and vulnerability. I needed those reminders, that gentle permission to make mistakes, and the reassurance to keep moving forward.
