Hello it's Aisha.
Welcome to this five-minute work break.
This guided meditation is designed to give you the opportunity to step away from work taking a moment to recharge and reset.
Giving yourself a mini break from work so that you can come back to work feeling energized,
Uplifted and ready for the rest of the workday.
So just take a moment now to get into a nice comfortable position,
Whatever that means for you.
So perhaps sitting down in a comfortable chair and when you're ready you can either close down the eyes or you can soften your gaze.
Let's now bring some awareness to the breath.
Take a nice deep breath in through the nose and a slow exhale out the mouth.
We'll do that two more times.
Deep breath in through the nose and slow breath out the mouth.
Once more deep breath in and a slow breath out.
From there just begin to breathe in through the nose and out through the nose and as you do this start to slow down your breathing as much as possible.
Calming the mind and soothing the nervous system.
Taking this time to really pull back into yourself recharging the body and the mind.
Breathing in slowly and breathing out completely.
Whatever work you've been doing today and whatever tasks you were doing before you started this guided meditation,
I want you to just imagine that you're placing it all in a box.
Then I want you to place that box to one side.
For now just leave any pending work tasks to the side as you give yourself this time to simply breathe and let yourself be.
Let's just be here together and breathe here together.
It's okay to be here in this moment.
It's okay to take this break.
You are grounded.
You are safe and you may wish to place one hand on the heart,
One hand on the tummy if that resonates.
Feel your heart beating.
Feel yourself breathing and know that you are doing an amazing job.
You are doing great.
Take this moment to feel a deep sense of gratitude for your physical body and for all of the work that you do and that you have done.
Feeling gratitude for your brilliant and creative mind,
For all that you are and for this relaxing moment that you are settling into.
Bathe in this moment.
Rest in this moment.
Let yourself be in this moment.
There is nothing to do but breathe and simply be.
Be here.
Breathe here.
Let your mind settle and clear.
Be in this moment.
Savor this moment.
Embrace this break.
As you begin to make your way out of this guided meditation you can start to bring some life back into the body.
Wiggling fingers and toes as you blink the eyes open.
That brings us to the end of this five minute work break.
