Welcome everybody.
So happy to share this meditation with you around self-acceptance.
And just take a moment to make any final adjustments to your meditation posture.
Connecting into the essence of self-acceptance.
What it truly means for you and your life.
Even the word acceptance.
And allow your meditation posture to be set.
Finding some stillness here in your physical body.
You arrived here with your meditation practice.
Give yourself these 20 minutes for you.
Take a full deep inhale,
Filling up your belly,
Your chest,
Fullness of your lungs.
And then let go on the exhale,
Letting go of what you believe self-acceptance means logically.
Breathing in,
Claiming this time for you.
Breathing out,
Letting go.
Continue these big abundant inhales and exhales on your own.
Allowing yourself to fully relax your physical body.
Filling your lungs when you exhale,
Noticing the breath pass through your body.
Using your breath,
Leave.
Inviting new air into your lungs.
You may begin to hear your own breath,
Breathing,
Releasing.
You can make an audible sigh of relief on the exhale.
Seeing all the distractions in your mind,
Any thoughts,
Any physical distractions or environmental distractions,
Notice them.
Come back to your meditation.
No longer being hijacked by the stories of your thoughts,
Noticing them come and go just like your breath,
And coming back to the awareness that's within.
This awareness that is in alignment with pure acceptance.
And when I say the phrase,
I accept myself,
Go ahead and repeat those words within.
I accept myself.
Moving into the experience of those words.
Allow for the depth of those words to be realized.
Breathing and soaking in the resonance of those words every time you hear them.
Allow your mind to travel back in time,
At a time when you are in your mother's womb.
You're in your mother's womb.
And you say to yourself,
I accept myself.
Whatever circumstances brought you here,
I accept myself.
You this beautiful miracle of life in your mother's womb.
I accept myself.
Moving your awareness to the moments of your birth and all the circumstances that unfolded around your birth,
I accept myself.
You entering this physical world,
I accept myself.
And as you grow to this young child,
I accept myself.
No matter how the adults in your life show up,
I accept myself.
You this beautiful light,
This young child walking this earth,
I accept myself.
And all the colors of emotions that you feel in this time of life,
All the fullness of experience that you witness,
I accept myself.
And as you move through life,
I accept myself.
As a more mature child,
And noticing the adults in your life and the people that surround you,
And all the experiences that come with this relationship with others,
And the relationship with your outer world,
How you interact with it,
I accept myself.
I accept myself.
Allow for that to soak into the fullness of your being.
Understanding your life as a teenager,
And all the relationships you experience here,
All the colors of emotions,
All the colors of life experience,
I accept myself.
I accept myself.
Moving your awareness into your young adulthood,
And all your life experiences here,
Relationships,
All the spectrum of color that you experience in this period of life,
And how you interact with it,
I accept myself.
Give yourself this,
I accept myself.
In the fullness of this life experience,
I accept myself.
I see and I accept myself.
Moving into your adulthood,
Your maturity in life,
And all the colors of experience that you move through,
All the relationships in your life that you interact with,
I accept myself.
I completely accept myself.
In all the colors of life,
I accept myself.
I see and I accept myself.
Surrender into that.
Begin to wonder who is myself in I accept myself.
Who is this person?
Who is this person?
And who is not this person?
And who is this I in I accept myself?
Begin to wonder who is accepting myself?
Who is this I?
Who is this I that has all this acceptance and love for myself?
I accept myself.
I accept myself.
I accept myself.
Surrendering so deep into that loving acceptance that witnesses your life,
That is loving you into life,
Even before you are born and that will carry you into the future.
I accept myself.
And go ahead and place your hands over your loving heart.
And take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
In the moments in your daily life,
May you remember I accept myself.
Just the way you are right now.
You are loved.
You are held in this moment.
You are accepted just as you are right now.
It's been an honor meditating with you.
Namaste.
