"Calming Energy" Body & Mind Relaxation

This meditation is the perfect way to invite relaxation and ease into your body and mind. Through our practice, we will explore a magical, healing energy to calm and relax our entire being. Keep an open mind and remember that no matter how many times your thoughts wander, gently let go of frustration and kindly bring your awareness back to the present moment - to listen to the meditation and the breath you are taking right now. The guided portion of this meditation is 19 minutes. The music continues for another minute. There is no formal end to this particular meditation so you can use it to drift off to sleep if you choose. If you are moving on with your day, just allow yourself to sit until the music fades and when you feel ready to slowly blink your eyes open, move gently back into your day with calm & ease. Welcome to your practice.

My name is Brittany Lynn,

And this is a practice to embody your own journey of beautifully awakening.

Take a moment to settle into a comfortable place.

Allow your body to be supported and gently close your eyes when you're ready.

Take a full deep breath in through your nose and open your mouth,

Exhale,

Sigh it out.

Take as many of those cleansing breaths as you need throughout this meditation and start to allow your physical body to soften and settle in,

Knowing that you don't need to force anything to happen,

But just giving yourself a gentle invitation to relax and find ease.

Just noticing anything that you are feeling in your physical body today.

Rather than resisting anything that's coming up,

Can you just send everything love?

Noticing where your mind happens to be in this moment as well.

Just giving yourself the gentle invitation to be here right now,

To be present in this moment for yourself,

Just taking time for you.

Maybe even saying to yourself in your mind,

I am here.

Noticing your breath in this moment right now.

Pay attention to what it feels like to inhale fully and to gently exhale.

Noticing the space inside your body where you feel your breath the most.

Just witnessing as you inhale and as you exhale,

Allowing every inhale to be a space of openness and love,

Of uplifting,

And allow every exhale to be a place of release,

Relaxation,

Letting go of anything that normally and letting go of anything that no longer serves you.

And any time you notice that your mind wanders,

See if you can gently bring your mind back to the simple present moment of your breath,

Inhaling and exhaling.

And as you breathe in deeply,

Just imagine yourself in the most beautiful place of nature,

Your favorite space to be.

It may be a specific place or some place in general,

Near the water,

In a forest,

On a mountain.

Just start to observe all of the beauty around you,

Everything that you see in this natural space.

Notice how it feels to be in this place.

And just allowing yourself to imagine the soles of your feet rooted down into the earth and feeling a beautiful,

Magical energy coming up from the earth and into your physical body.

What does this energy look like?

What color is it?

Visualize this magical energy that the earth and nature provides and allow this magical energy to start to seep into your body,

Inviting healing and calm,

And calm,

Comfort and ease.

Just allowing it to come from the earth through your feet and slowly making its way through every corner of your body,

Filling you with light and ease,

Softness and love.

And as you allow this magical energy from nature to fill your entire being,

Just imagine with every inhale you take,

This light and magic grows beyond the boundaries of your physical body.

And with every exhale,

It gently softens into the space of your heart.

And as you give this magical light,

This magical energy,

Permission to invite love and healing,

Just give your physical body the invitation to relax further.

Even if there's resistance within your body,

To be calm.

Just send each place inside your body the invitation for ease,

The invitation to rest and restore,

The invitation to be healed by this magical energy.

So allowing this magic to invite calm and ease,

Noticing anything that you feel starting at the top of your head,

Gently inviting relaxation behind your eyes,

Through your cheeks,

Releasing through the hinge at your jaw,

Inviting a softness to wash down your face,

Inviting the back of your head to rest,

To be supported,

Inviting both sides of your neck to relax and release,

Allowing this gentle magical energy to wash down your shoulders,

Your upper arms,

Your elbows and your forearms,

Down through your wrists,

Down through your wrists,

Hands and fingers,

Inviting any tension or holding in your arms to release,

And allowing this magical energy to drift over into the space of your belly,

Inviting your belly to soften,

Sending love to everything that you feel,

And also giving it a gentle invitation to relax,

Letting this magical energy softly and gently swirl around the belly,

Inviting calm and peace,

And watching as this energy gently rises up to your ribcage,

Your chest,

And with every inhale,

Watching this energy grow and sparkle,

And with every exhale,

Allowing it to soften into every space that needs love,

Into every corner of the body,

Into every corner of your body and your mind,

And as you continue to release through the front side of your body,

Allow this magical healing energy to wash down the backside of your body,

From the top of your back,

Behind your shoulder blades,

Through both sides of your midline,

Down into your lower back and your hips,

Feeling the support behind you,

And like a blanket of calm,

Allow this magical energy to continue to wash down your body through the tops of your legs,

Your knees,

Your toes,

Your toes,

Your knees,

Your shins and calves,

Down through your ankles,

Feet,

And toes,

Just inviting the entire front side of your body to be open and free,

Inviting the entire backside of your body to be supported and calm.

This magical energy is here to protect you,

So as you invite your body and mind to sink further into a space of peace and ease,

Just rest your awareness on your breathing,

Watching this magical light within you grow with every breath that you take in and gently soften with every breath that releases.

If you drift off into sleep,

Just allow your body to rest.

If your mind is still present,

Continue to breathe in and breathe out slowly,

Just observing this magical light,

This beautiful healing energy within you.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

Inhale,

Exhale.
