Before you shut your eyes for the night, rest your mind. Ease into this meditation and allow your thoughts to settle, your body to relax, and ready yourself for a peaceful night of rest. In this meditation, take a breath, and settle in for the night.

Find a comfortable resting position.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out of your mouth.

Exhale deeply.

Continue until you feel your body settle,

Until your body is weightless and each muscle is relaxed.

From the top of your head to the bottoms of your feet,

Each muscle is at ease.

Continue breathing,

Focusing on each breath as it continues to settle your body,

Your mind,

Your thoughts.

Focus on each breath.

Once your body has settled,

Shut your eyes.

You are safe.

You are comforted.

You are at peace.

Your body is at ease.

You are at ease.

The night ahead will be restful.

The night ahead will be peaceful.

Your body will be restored and rejuvenated.

You'll wake up refreshed.

But for now,

Shut your eyes,

Focus on your breath,

And breathe in through your nose and out of your mouth,

Continue.

Keep your eyes shut and continue this ease into the night.
