I invite you to find a quiet,
Comfortable place to sit where you will be undisturbed as you listen to my voice.
You may wish to close your eyes,
Hold a soft gaze or choose something to focus on in front of you.
Take a few moments to quickly scan your body,
Beginning with the places touching the floor or your seat and continuing up to your head and face,
Checking in with your skin,
Muscles,
Bones and organs.
If there are places in your body that hurt or feel uncomfortable,
Ask them to take a back seat for now,
Promising them you will return to them later.
Let the weight of your bones help you settle into connecting with the earth.
Take a few moments to simply observe what is happening inside and when you feel ready,
Bring yourself gently back into the room.
