Michelle Hare is a trauma-sensitive yoga facilitator, RYT-500, TCTSY-F, and certified Yin Yoga teacher whose work centers around choice, embodiment, curiosity, and compassionate connection with your body. Through Centered Soul Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Michelle offers invitational practices that create space for participants to possibly explore movement, stillness, sensation, breath, and present-moment experience in their own way and in their own time. Rather than focusing on performance or achieving a particular shape, her approach invites curiosity and supports each person’s agency in making choices for their own body. Michelle’s work is informed by her training in Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), Yin Yoga, and her ongoing studies in Neuro Somatic Intelligence. She is particularly interested in the relationship between the nervous system, embodied awareness, and our capacity to meet ourselves with greater compassion. At the heart of her offerings is a simple invitation: to gently arrive in any way that interests you, notice what is here, and explore relationship with yourself exactly as you are. She lives with her husband, son, and growing homestead in Liverpool, Pa., where her life is deeply shaped by motherhood, art-making, community care, and the rhythms of the natural world.
