The only constant is change! In order to accept change, we must be prepared to grow. And growth is more impactful when you can invite it in for joyous reasons - to better be of service, to enhance your life experiences. Growth should not be a burden, or guilt-ridden, or shame-enforced. Enjoy this 10-minute guided meditation where we invite growth in as a joyous occasion, knowing that we are perfect the way we are now, in this moment, and growth is a choice! Enjoy, and happy changing.

Welcome to this meditation where we invite growth in.

Find a comfortable seat with your spine tall and lifted.

Take a moment to come into your body.

Take a few slow,

Deep breaths,

Inhaling through the nose.

Allow yourself to open the mouth and exhale.

Check in with your present state of being.

Observe your mental,

Emotional,

And spiritual bodies.

Now begin to ask yourself,

Where do I want to grow?

As you begin to ponder this,

Grab a hold of the first thing that popped into your mind.

Let your intuition guide you.

You may desire to grow in more than one area,

But let's focus on just this one that came up for now.

And let's explore this area of growth.

Why do you want to grow?

Is it in order to thrive?

To have a better human experience?

Maybe to help more people?

Or perhaps it's because of guilt?

Maybe is there shame coming into the picture?

Or not good enough-ness?

Sit with your reasoning,

Really searching your desire to grow.

Now begin to ask yourself,

Where do I want to grow?

Now begin to ask yourself,

Where do I want to grow?

Now begin to ask yourself,

Where do I want to grow?

Now begin to ask yourself,

Where do I want to grow?

Now begin to ask yourself,

Where do I want to grow?

Now begin to ask yourself,

Where do I want to grow?

In this moment,

If you have found that your desire to grow has come from a place of guilt,

Shame,

Or not enough-ness,

I invite you to simply explore a different perspective with me,

Just for now,

Just for today.

Know these things and repeat them in your mind after me.

I am perfect as I am.

I am where I'm meant to be in this moment.

Growth is a gift to enhance my human experience.

I am worthy and open for growth.

We bring in these affirmations so that growth is not a burden,

But it remains to be a joy.

Repeat these affirmations after me.

I will repeat them three more times,

And if one sticks with you,

I invite you to hold on to it.

Let's begin.

I am perfect as I am.

I am where I'm meant to be in this moment.

Growth is a gift to enhance my human experience.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am perfect as I am.

I am where I'm meant to be in this moment.

Growth is a gift to enhance my human experience.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am perfect as I am.

I am where I'm meant to be in this moment.

Growth is a gift to enhance my human experience.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am worthy and open for growth.

I am worthy and open for growth.

Come back to any of these affirmations whenever you find growth to be a burden rather than a joy.

Come back to these affirmations whenever you find growth to be a punishment rather than a gift.

Mold,

Change,

For a purpose that is uniquely meant for you.

Take this gift of growth and bring it with you to pass on to others.

Thank you for joining me today.

What a fantastic day-starter! The emphasis on growth and the encouragement to seek growth for its own purpose, not borne from a place of guilt or obligation, was a great reminder. I'd love to know the source for the music used in this piece. It was a perfect fit.
