Hi,

My name is Shenhua Hawk.

Welcome to our 7-minute meditation.

We will begin this meditation by taking a deep breath in and exhaling slowly.

Deep breath in and exhale slowly.

Deep breath in and exhale slowly.

Deep breath in and exhale slowly.

Now close your eyes and take another deep breath in and exhale.

Now imagine you are sitting in the middle of a beautiful forest.

You are surrounded by tall trees with leaves that are boasting the most vibrant green color.

The forest echoes with the sounds of birds singing lullabies that soothe your soul.

Butterflies are quietly perched on flowers and in the grass,

Illuminating the forest with their colors of yellow,

Blue,

And magenta.

As you sit,

You can feel the warmth of the sun intentionally making its way down through the trees right onto you,

Gently warming the top of your head,

Then the base of your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your chest.

Feel the warmth spreading down both of your arms all the way down to your fingers,

Your belly,

Your hips,

Both of your legs all the way down to your toes.

You are completely comfortable.

You are completely at peace.

And with each breath,

You are feeling more and more calm.

Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly.

Deep breath in and exhale slowly.

Let any thoughts that are coming come and go.

Your only responsibility in this moment is to breathe.

Breathing is life.

Now I ask you to take the next two minutes to sit and breathe quietly.

Now slowly begin to open your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

Deep breath in and exhale.

Deep breath in and exhale.

Thank you for joining me in today's meditation.

I wish you peace,

Happiness,

And a successful day.

Very Good guided meditation. In the end, I was breathing slower than the guided. I laughed because I felt somewhat rushed to catch up with “everyone” to breathe as quickly as they were. So at peace, I was concerned that I might fall asleep at the beginning of my day. Ha ha. I feel terrific. Bonus: I know these meditations work because I had melanoma surgery yesterday to remove a chunk out of my right arm before I started a meditation, my heart had been pounding because I was rushing to arrive on time at the ungodly hour of 6:45 while I’m normally awake, I’m usually having breakfast. But I used breathing exercises and the four count box breathing which calmed me down to relaxed which made the surgery where one’s awake and present the whole time more tolerable. Thank you Teacher for the music, birds, your voice all at the right volume and timing. Fabulous! Blessings to you and all on this journey. Warmly, Anne
