Be at peace.
It's been said that when things change inside you,
Things change around you.
There's something that is very deep within us that makes us think we need more.
We need more of this.
We need more of that.
We need something else.
Because we're always needing something more.
I have to think back a while ago when Mick Jagger did I Can't Get No Satisfaction.
And it goes way back.
I know I'm old school,
It's true,
But you can't get no satisfaction if you try and you try and you try.
Because the more you try,
You find that's not good enough and you need something more and more.
It's a problem that our whole society has.
And we're built around this way of capitalistic thinking.
I mean,
Think of most all of the commercials you see and hear.
All are based around you need this,
You need this.
So it is in our consciousness that we need this or that.
And if we had this or that,
We'd be able to do this or that.
We might be happy,
We might be happier.
But you know,
It comes to a point when you just go,
Huh,
I don't think I really need anything else.
I have everything I need right here inside me.
If you really think that you're going to get something outside you to get happiness,
You'll find you might get disappointed.
We know that deep inside us is this peace.
But we have to know how to recognize how to go back to that peace when we get thinking that we need more and more and more.
You know,
This consciousness of having to be the best with the biggest and most expensive car and the biggest house.
All you have to do is look at the top celebrities who have found that even with that,
They have divorces,
They have things that happen that make them unhappy.
So when you get new things,
You have to deal with new things.
And the bigger the things you get,
The more you have to deal with.
But if we can,
As the Beatles says,
Just let it be.
If you can just allow yourself to be,
Especially in meditation,
You'll find some peace of mind.
There is a peace in just being.
Just being okay with yourself.
Just being present.
Just realizing how full and perfect each breath,
Each moment is.
If you can experience that wonder,
That gift,
The blessings,
And just allow yourself to be in that place,
You will find how wonderful this excellent moment is.
Do we really believe in that state of mind,
In that place,
That anything is going to make us inherently better?
I think part of us believes it.
I think part of us would like to spend more time in that place of peace.
But there are always these temptations.
And it's what has built a lot of our society.
But if we look at the state of our society right now,
I can't remember any time in my fairly long life where there's been more violence,
More killings,
More shootings,
More people going off the deep end.
So something is wrong in that place,
Right?
So having enough for some isn't enough for all.
We can admit that at least.
But you can experience right in this moment,
Right there within you,
That you have this state of just being.
And in that awareness of the gift of that being,
The blessing that it is,
Is a great and wonderful thing.
You don't really need anything else.
You can just be still in this beautiful moment and let go of those other thoughts,
Of more,
More,
More.
And just be,
Be,
Be.
You know,
I think the world has way too many to-do lists and not enough of just to be lists.
Just to be.
Now let's take a breath or two and go into that state of being.
In this moment,
This precious divine moment,
Let's set our intent to find that peace and being,
Just being.
Breathe in and just be that breath.
Breathing in,
Holding your breath,
And breathing out.
Breathing in and as you breathe out,
Letting go and releasing any tension,
Any thoughts.
Just being here in this moment and feeling that release.
And let's scan your body.
How is your mind?
How does your mind feel?
Be aware of the eyes and the ears,
The nose,
The jaws,
The mouth,
The throat.
Breathing in and releasing any tension and clearing anything out of the tension in your shoulders and going down and being aware of being in your heart.
Just being in that center of love.
Allowing yourself to be in the wonder of the presence of love inside of you.
And in that love,
Find that place of peace.
That place where everything is okay.
Everything is just presently here,
Now,
And okay.
All is well.
All is well.
How does that feel when you allow yourself to feel 100% okay and well?
100% not needing anything.
Just being at peace.
Does that feel good?
Are you happy with just being here now?
You don't need anything.
You have everything you need right here and now.
Feel that.
Believe that.
Bathe in this energy of complete wholeness.
Let go of anything you thought you had to have and just allow yourself to be here now in peace.
Breathe that in and bathe in it.
Absorb it.
Feel it.
You have everything you need to be at peace.

For there is a place of peace within you.
There is an understanding you can find that removes the separation that us and them,
That defines mankind.
The I am in you is the I am in me.
We are all part of a world family with a purpose here,
You see.
That peace you find inside will bring more balance and good time to allow you to maintain a peaceful state of mind.
And you will overcome the conflict and you can be at peace.
And you will find,

That that peace is there within you.
And you can let that peace be with you again.
And we can overcome the hatred and we can begin to find more love and heal the pain and sorrow to bring forth the blessings of that peace of the Holy Dove.
