Colette Power, PhD is a meditation teacher, mindfulness trainer, supervisor and practice mentor. She is a Community Dharma Leader authorised by Gaia House Teacher Council and a student of the Bodhi College Committed Dharma Practitioner Programme. Colette is a Certified Mindful Self-Compassion teacher and has been leading retreats in the UK and Europe since 2012. She trained with Bangor University (MBSR/MBCT), Breathworks CIC and The Centre for Mindful Self-Compassion. Her approach doesn’t shy away from the difficulties in our everyday lives - instead, these become the source of insight and transformation Colette's work incorporates insight and compassion-based inquiry. She has been a student of the Diamond Approach for some years. She qualified as an integrative therapist in 1995 and holds a doctorate from The University of Liverpool
