To start,
Allow yourself to gently stretch your body,
Taking some deep breaths.
Notice the room around you.
Notice your growing sense of peace while you take this moment just to be aware.
You may even try to pay attention to some of the objects you usually would walk past or not give a second glance to now.
As you keep breathing more deeply.
Even if there's still more to do in this space.
And for the rest of the day.
Right now,
All you need to do is take a deep breath.
For as long as you can.
And release it for just as long.
If not longer.
On the next breath you may close your eyes or lower your gaze.
Continuing to remind yourself that this time is just for you.
Keep noticing your breath.
As it travels throughout your body,
The many ways in which it enlivens and soothes you.
Feel how it allows for release of any tension,
Especially as you do a body scan and consciously breathe into those areas that are calling out for it now.
Notice how much more supported you feel by the surface you're on.
And the way in which you become more connected to this moment.
Then when you are ready,
Start to imagine what it is like to feel inspired.
The theme for our meditation today is all about that.
What it looks like when the spark of inspiration emerges.
And the ways in which we cultivate it.
To sustain it.
And celebrate it.
Especially when we become more mindful of how inspiration is surrounding us every day.
It may help to reflect on the day so far.
Inspiration may have been very obvious in the sense of success with completing a goal.
Or perhaps feel more subtle in an idea popping up out of the soil of your mind.
And even if nothing's emerged so far,
You can invite your mind to conjure up an image of inspiration now and see what emerges.
.
I invite you to reflect on these questions as well.
You may even want to transition into a journal practice at this point.
So feel free to.
If that is what feels right now.
Either way,
Give yourself all the time you need.
To see what answers emerge.
What is it like to feel the magic of a new beginning?
Where is this embodied for you?
What are you able to let go of when this happens?
Would it be possible for this to happen on some level each day?
As you continue to reflect on these,
Allow your breath to center you.
Feeling the fresh air fueling your inner wisdom.
Even if nothing seems to have emerged,
Trust that inspiration will manifest.
Just by taking this time now to reflect on what it looks like for you.
You may picture traveling to the places you have been captivated by.
Or sitting with the people that have nurtured your sense of curiosity and peace.
Take notice of what it's like.
To reflect on these past inspirations now.
Then when you are ready,
I'll invite you to think about all the people you have been able to meet as a result of your desire to free yourself from self-doubt,
Judgment,
And hate.
Imagine all these amazing people finding their own sense of freedom.
And what it looks like to see everyone celebrating the gifts they bring to this world.
We all have our own verse in the song.
A purpose that is woven into our sheer existence.
And know that you make this work of art a masterpiece.
And know that you make this work of art a masterpiece.
One of the many paradoxes of life is the uniqueness in who we are.
And yet the sameness in what we all need.
A chance to believe that we are safe,
Heard,
Loved,
And inspired.
Notice what these sensations feel like if you are experiencing any now in this moment.
You may even wish yourself the following loving kindness statements.
May I feel safety.
May I feel heard.
May I feel loved.
May I feel inspired.
Continue taking as many conscious breaths as you need.
Before reentering the space.
And enlivened by the thought of more adventure to await you for the rest of the day.
And remember your practice.
