Are you ready to relax your body and meditate with Kari?

Lay down on your bed.

Maybe you need a nap or preferably it's the end of the day and you're ready to go to sleep.

Make sure that everything is right.

No one can disturb you.

The light is soothing and calming when you're all warm and tucked up in your bed.

Close down your eyes with the intention of letting go of your day.

This is the place for all of us where we lay and think and toss and turn and mull over different things from our day.

Right now you are closing off your eyes and setting an actual intention that this is going to be a sweet end to your day.

Your day has happened,

Tomorrow is not yet here,

There's nothing we can do about tomorrow.

Today is already gone.

So all you have right now is this sweet moment that you're choosing to close off your eyes and set an intention to let it all go.

It's time to relax.

Just whisper those words to yourself in your mind.

Let them start to take flight through your thoughts.

It's like a breeze blowing through the trees.

It's time to relax.

It's time to relax.

Start to let the muscles in your face soften.

As you consciously breathe out the tension in the muscles in your face,

Think about what you're letting go of.

Think about the thoughts and the feelings you don't need right now in this moment.

Just leave in your body with your breath.

It's time to relax.

Time to let go.

Feel the back of your head getting heavier into your pillow as if it's resigning itself to it being the end of the day.

Nothing more needs to be done other than relaxing in this moment.

So let your head get heavy.

Feel it as you exhale literally sink deeper into your pillow.

And let the words blow through your mind.

It's time to relax.

It's time to relax.

Let your shoulders get heavier.

Allow them to feel as if they're dropping deeper into your mattress.

Pulling away from your head,

Away from your ears.

Pulling into their own space.

Allow that relaxation and that heaviness to start to flow down your left arm.

Feel it making its way down to your fingertips.

And then your right arm.

Slowly flowing all the way down to the tips of your fingers on your right hand.

Take in that breath,

The breeze,

And let it blow through your mind.

Reminding you.

It's time to relax.

And every time you hear the words traveling through the thoughts in your mind,

Allow your body to sink deeper.

As if the words have some kind of magical,

Entrancing energy.

And you feel the urge to just surrender.

Just let go.

Soften your ribs and let your spine adjust and fall deeper into your bed.

Allow yourself to get that feeling of just very gently falling.

As if you're starting to be weightless.

Falling through space and time.

Falling through your day.

Your week.

Your year.

Falling.

And as you surrender to the sensations of letting go,

Imagine that you're invisibly supported.

Supported by everything that loves you.

Making sure you don't fall too fast.

Making sure you feel safe.

And then the wind blows again.

It's time to relax.

Let yourself relax.

Your hips and your legs start to sink deeper.

Falling through all the nonsense and the small,

Silly things you get caught up in.

Like you're breaking through the spider webs and the strands of stress or tension.

Falling through them,

Surrendering into something sweet,

Peaceful,

Gentle.

It feels as if you're falling through a void.

Like all of time is passing by.

And yet at the same time,

As if everything stays still.

Not being quite sure of whether there's movement or not.

Am I sinking?

Am I floating?

Wherever you are,

You surrender.

It's time to relax.

You hear it again and again.

Like chimes.

Chiming and tingling and making those sweet sounds.

As if they too are being affected by the wind.

The breeze that carries the words.

It's time.

Time to relax.

Just let go.

And deeper and deeper.

Floating through space.

You feel the awareness of your feet and then they get heavy and still and completely relaxed.

That veil that felt like it was supporting you and keeping you safe,

Now feels like the softest,

Sweetest blanket.

And it's wrapped around you like a cocoon.

You feel warm and comfortable.

Your thoughts are staying at bay.

The breeze is blowing around your body.

You feel it gently blowing through the hairs on your face,

Your eyebrows,

Your eyelashes.

It brings a soothing sensation.

When you sink deeper into your cocoon,

Falling deeper,

Relaxing even deeper.

It's time to relax.

It's time to relax.

You hear the words swirling through your mind.

Cleaning out all the cobwebs on the inside of your brain.

Breaking down any resistance to those magical words.

You surrender even deeper.

And as you listen to the gentle music,

You allow your body to journey.

Journey into the unknown.

Into a blissful state of peace.

Namaste.

Thanks for listening.
