All right.
So welcome to your morning positive affirmations meditation,
Where we are going to be using affirmations and statements and mantras to set our intention and our focus for the day and really get in a really great headspace moving forward.
You can be in any position that feels comfortable for you,
Whether that's a seated position,
Which is what I'm going to be in,
Lying on your back.
You can even do this standing or as a movement meditation.
But when you're ready,
Let's gently just either close our eyes or soften our gaze.
And we'll come into our breath without trying to change it in any way,
Just really focusing on being present in our bodies.
Making sure let's roll our shoulders down away from our ears,
Sitting up tall in our spine,
Unclenching the jaw and just feeling the belly rise with the inhale and fall with the exhale.
With our affirmations this morning,
You can choose whether you just want to listen to my voice or repeat the affirmations in your head as you breathe,
Or I do invite you to speak them aloud,
Which can be a really powerful way to involve more of our senses.
I hope that these feels good to you this morning.
Present to be curious and ask questions to find out what my body needs.
Today,
I will focus on what makes me feel good.
I will choose joy,
Notice moments of pleasure.
I will seek out opportunity,
Best day of my life,
Patient with myself,
I believe in my potential,
Trust myself,
Accept who I am today,
Of energy,
Life,
Gratitude,
And I am becoming lean to me every day.
I'm surrounded by love and the universe is taking care of me.
I will choose to focus on what I can control and let go of what I can't.
I ask myself permission,
Most authentic self today,
To stay with your breath a little while longer,
Know that you absolutely have permission to do so.
If you're ready,
Let's bring in a little bit of movement.
We can gently roll our head and neck,
Making sure once again that we've unclenched our jaw,
Maybe wiggling our fingers,
Wiggling our toes,
Pulling the shoulders down and back,
And no matter what position you're in,
You can kind of do a little shake,
Get your body ready.
