Welcome to your Body Image Affirmations Guided Meditation.
This meditation is designed to help you transform your relationship with your body,
To connect and feel better in your skin.
It's designed to do multiple times,
Anytime you need it.
So let's dive in.
Choose any position that feels comfortable for you,
Whether that's sitting on the floor or on a meditation cushion,
Choosing a comfortable chair,
Lying on your mat or on your bed,
Or even standing either in a mountain pose or in a strong power pose with your hands on your hips.
When you're ready,
You can close your eyes or soften your gaze and come into your body.
Let's notice the breath.
Feel the belly rise with your inhale and fall with your exhale.
Our focus is just noticing and being present in the body,
Not trying to change or alter the breath in any way.
With these affirmations,
You can choose to just gently hear them in your mind's eye,
Or a powerful way to get results faster and to really have them sink into your self-conscious is to repeat them after me,
And if you're in a safe space,
To speak them aloud.
I have a body.
My body and I have a lifetime of memories together.
My relationship with my body is an important one.
It deserves time,
Care,
Energy,
And effort.
I accept that my body will change.
I will lose weight.
I will gain weight.
My weight will stay the same.
I will show up in my body today.
I will ask questions and be curious.
I recognize and trust that my body has the answers.
I am learning how to listen to its voice to find them.
My body is deserving of love.
I will be mindful of my thoughts today,
Of the words I use,
And how I speak to and about my body.
I will choose to be kind,
Patient,
And show myself compassion.
My body and I are in this together.
My body is worthy of nourishment.
I am excited to experience my food today.
I will be present as I eat.
I will eat when I am hungry.
I will stop when I feel satisfied.
I will remind my body it is safe and I will not deprive it of food.
I trust my body will guide me.
My body and I will have a good day today.
I will be present.
I will choose joy,
Pleasure,
And play.
My body image is improving.
I trust my body.
I am friends with my body.
My body and I have got this.

I want to invite you to place your hands on your body for your final few breaths,
Anywhere that you feel called to,
And just sit in the energy of love and trust and gratitude for your body.
