Good morning,
As you softly awaken,
Take a moment to move or stretch however feels good for you.
As you settle back down,
I welcome you to take two full belly breaths,
Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.
Breathing in the morning's glow and exhaling any tension or worries about the day ahead,
Whether you are still in bed or have already risen,
Let's start this new day by relaxing the shoulders,
Softening any tension in the body that may have been held overnight.
Relaxing the jaw,
The neck,
The tongue as you bring your attention to the rise and fall of the chest,
A new day is ahead of you,
Full of opportunity,
A day full of hope,
A chance to do something good,
To soak up all of life's experiences that may come your way.
Bringing your attention to the rise and fall of the belly,
We don't always have control over how the day will play out,
What you do have control over are your thoughts,
Your reactions and your mindset.
And with a deep breath in,
Let's tune in to that positive mindset,
Where you are full of gratitude,
Where your happiness lies,
Where your goals are accomplished and your excitement lives and carry this with you throughout your day,
Noticing what you are grateful for,
Noticing any moments of happiness,
Focusing on your goals and being unapologetic about finding excitement in the little things.
And remember to find moments to pause and breathe,
You've got this day.
