Welcome to this meditation on healing with patience.
Today we are going to focus on the entire body,
Sending extra compassion to areas that are painful or deserve your attention and love the most.
Make sure you are in a very relaxing position,
Somewhere you will not be disturbed by anyone or anything.
This precious time is dedicated to you.
You deserve to heal completely from anything that needs mending.
Gently close your eyes and take a nice slow breath in.
Feel the warm oxygen nourishing your body.
As you take a slow breath out,
Release any fear or insecurity that you have.
Anything that could be holding you back from accepting this meditation as healing.
Breathe it out and become open-minded to this process.
On your next inhale,
See how slow you can breathe in.
Picture each molecule of the air feeding your body what it needs to recover.
As you slowly exhale,
Release any negative tension.
Let your breath flow naturally now,
Automatically flowing in and out.
Bring awareness to somewhere in your body that you feel no pain,
A place of comfort or perhaps a neutral place.
Keep your attention here and notice the quality of sensations.
You may feel nothing but peace,
Comfort and stillness.
These places are filled with love and filled with serenity.
Be thankful for these parts of your body that feel this way.
Let your attention center on places in your body that feel either good,
Comfortable or average.
As you breathe in,
Breathe in deeply and imagine that with the breath,
A deep compassion is carried,
Sending this unconditional love to these areas of no pain.
And feel gratitude for the sensation of comfort here.
Now take this same compassion as you inhale.
And when you exhale,
Focus on any areas of pain or discomfort.
Send the painful spots unconditional love and compassion.
Imagine a loving bright light shining on these places of discomfort.
Imagine yourselves being healed from this bright light and love.
Feel these body parts become receptive to this gift and feel them let go of a little bit of tension.
As you breathe in again,
Imagine you are inhaling pure love.
This can be love from somebody who you felt love before from or from a higher power that you believe in or simply the feeling of unconditional love that you can bring up yourself while thinking of somebody else.
This is a feeling of positive energy you can bring up at any time and use it to imagine yourself healing your body with.
Inhale this love and as you exhale,
Imagine you can send this powerful love to all areas of your body.
Notice a gentle healing sensation.
Begin to access all the cells in your body,
Especially those with pain of these cells regenerating and naturally returning any pain back to comfort and healing.
Breathe in slowly,
Breathe out slowly.
Have patience,
Allowing healing to happen slowly in the perfect timing that it needs.
Bring your attention back to the places of your body that were neutral or comfortable feeling good.
Breathe into these parts with compassion and care.
Keeping your awareness on the places that feel good helps you to breathe in gratitude for these sensations and this loving presence of energy.
If at any time your mind has wandered off and you have brought it back,
That is a victory.
Be proud of yourself for taking this time and doing the best that you can.
Be grateful for this moment.
Be loving and kind to yourself.
Be patient with your body.
Feeling these positive sensations will help you heal.
Focus on the body as a whole.
Feel your entire body at once,
Filled with all kinds of sensations.
Imagine a loving,
Blessing energy shining over your entire body.
Place a smile upon your face.
Return to the present moment filled with senses and space and time.
As you become aware of the present moment and open your eyes,
Know that you are closer each day to being fully healed.
