Sifting through the earliest records of the Buddha's talks, we find a simple, elegant, and powerful practice. Compared to the versions of his teachings most widely known, his original meditation emphasized: Tranquility, Simplicity, Stages (“jhana”), and Ease. These talks are dedicated to this approach to meditation and daily living. I call it “easing awake.”

Thank you so much for this sharing. I was looking for a talk on the concept of non-striving and I’ve got a lot out of this. I don’t often listen through a 50 minute talk with such focus! Thank you. Thank you.

Wonderful talk. Resonated so much with me. Since learning about buddhism I always feel it's exactly the idea that resonated with me and my beliefs. This talk was simple, meaningful and emotional even. Thank you. 💞🙏
