Hello and welcome to day 28 of the mindful minute.

This is Laura.

We are continuing our discussion of the seven chakras,

So go ahead and find your comfortable seat and soften your gaze or close your eyes.

Go ahead and bring your attention to the area around your throat.

This is the physical location of the throat chakra.

Its name in Sanskrit is Vishuddha.

As you bring your attention here,

Visualize a sky blue light coming from this area of the body.

This chakra allows us to speak our truth.

It allows us to clearly communicate.

As you continue to bring your awareness to this area of your body,

Allow these qualities to grow with inside you.

Your ability to express yourself,

Your independence.

This represents our voice,

Both the literal voice and the metaphorical voice.

Allow this blue light to expand beyond the area of the throat,

Letting each of these qualities grow within you.

Stay here as long as you'd like.

Take care and be well.
