I've got a grounding meditation for you.
Go ahead and find a comfortable place to sit.
Somewhere where you can take just a few moments for yourself.
Once you're comfortable,
Close your eyes and just begin to notice your breath.
Notice your body as it's sitting or lying down.
Begin to notice the points of contact.
Maybe your feet,
Maybe your hips.
Let them just release down.
Notice your breath.
The rise and fall of your inhale and your exhale.
Take a big breath in through your nose and exhale,
Let it all go.
Another breath just like that.
Inhale through your nose,
Exhale,
Let it go.
Take one more big inhale through your nose and exhale,
Sigh it out.
Return to your natural breath and just begin to notice.
You're about to go on a journey,
A long journey.
A journey through each of the layers of yourself,
Toward the self that lies at your core and is filled with all that you are.
The journey begins here in your body with your breath.
It follows you wherever you are.
The journey is long.
It has ups,
It has downs,
But it's filled with the essence and energy that makes you who you are,
That makes you shine.
All you need on this journey is yourself.
Your body is your vehicle.
It has everything you need.
You have everything you need.
You are your body.
Your body is you.
You move through the day,
Through your routines,
Through your relationships.
You grow,
You learn,
You change over time.
Thank your body for all that it does to take care of you.
We begin our adventure here in this moment towards the shine,
But deeply rooted.
Begin to sink deeper and deeper into yourself from the crown of your head,
All the way down to your feet.
Let your feet sink into the earth,
Through the ground,
Through the rocks,
Through the soil,
Towards the earth's crust.
Feel the earth's source of power and energy.
Notice the life and the power rise up into your feet at the same time as you sink further into that glowing energy at the core of the earth.
Let your feet sink,
Your heels,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Your tailbone.
Feel the sensation of the energy move from the base of your spine back down again through your hamstrings,
The backs of your knees,
Your calves,
Through your heels,
Into the floor and beyond.
Feel the stability.
You are anchored.
You are nourished.
You are grounded.
Most of all,
You are here.
You're connected.
You are in your body,
But you are deeper than that.
You are your essential self,
That you that has been there always shining.
Let the feeling of gratitude and abundance rise up from the earth into your body,
Through your veins.
As it flows,
Feel that shine radiate within you brighter and brighter.
Feel it in your feet,
Your legs,
Your pelvis,
Your belly,
Your heart,
Your chest,
Your shoulders,
Your hands,
Your fingertips.
Feel it in your throat,
Your cheeks,
In your eyes and in the crown of your head.
Take a deep breath in and let that shine and energy flow down again back through your body and into the earth,
Deep below the surface where it finds nourishment and peace and know that it's there for you,
Keeping you grounded and stable whenever you need it.
Know that that energy can rise up and flow back down at any time.
It's always there like you've always been there for yourself.
Take a moment to savor the sense of connection the sense of nourishment,
The grounding.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and let it all go through your mouth.
Bring your hands to heart center,
Your palms to touch.
Give yourself gratitude for taking this time,
This stillness to cultivate the grounding inside.
