Hey,
I am so glad you're here.
This is a space I've carved out for you to be just with yourself for a little bit of time,
For as long as this track lasts,
And it's something you can dip back into when it feels helpful and supportive.
In this busy life,
This life that feels so fast sometimes,
This life that can feel like too much,
Giving ourselves a little bit of a break to come back to ourselves,
To get curious about the things that we're feeling,
And maybe even to go on a little bit of adventure to imagine and get curious in other places that might look different than where we live in our daily lives.
Today I'm really excited to teach you a basic grounding tool that I use in my life every day.
One of my intuitive teachers taught this to me,
And she learned it from some of her intuitive teachers,
And it's something that I teach to clients and people that I do workshops with,
Because it's something that is so easily accessible to support us wherever we are.
And so today,
If you're able to be in a seated position with your feet on the floor,
That is great,
And also we can be flexible here.
So if your body is asking to lie down,
If that is what feels best,
Or if that is all that is possible for you right now,
That's okay too.
Let yourself arrive fully in this present moment.
It's typical for our minds to start to drift,
To start to think to think about things in the past or in the future,
And just gently bring them back using my voice as an anchor when you notice that happening.
Without judgment,
Direct your attention back to the present as many times as it takes.
Start to notice your breath.
Again,
Without judgment,
Just noticing how your body is breathing.
Does it feel like you need to deepen your breath?
Or slow it at all?
Or maybe it feels completely fine the way it is.
Noticing with acceptance and non-judgment,
Welcoming yourself into this space.
And as you are in this space,
Direct your attention to the base of your spine.
At the base of your spine,
Imagine that there is a golden ball of light.
And this golden ball of light begins to expand as you watch it.
It begins to grow to the size of your hips,
Encircling your whole pelvic bowl area,
Bathing all of the cells there in this warm golden glow.
Remember,
You are the observer.
You are seeing this happen.
And as you watch this golden ball of light,
It begins to set down like a setting sun,
Dropping down into the surface beneath you.
Traveling downward,
Slowly,
But with purpose through every single layer beneath you,
Whether it's floor or ground.
Digging into the soil and dirt and clay into and through the rock,
Effortlessly traveling down,
Down,
Down.
Until finally,
This golden sun plugs in to the very center of the earth.
And behind it,
It leaves a hollow tube called your grounding cord.
And your grounding cords job is to support you in releasing everything that's ready to move through and out of your body,
Or perhaps even move within your body.
So that things are no longer feeling so stagnant or stuck.
Things that are no longer yours or weren't ever yours to begin with,
Are able to travel down through this grounding cord with no effort on your part.
Pulled down into the center of the earth to be composted and recycled to come back to you as another form of energy at another time.
Not letting yourself forget to breathe throughout this process.
Watching it happen with curiosity.
And your grounding cord doesn't have to look one specific way.
It might have a texture or a pattern.
It might have one color or many colors.
If it doesn't have any color at all,
See if you can invite in a bit of sparkle or shimmer,
Helping you protect your energy as yours.
And again,
Just breathing as you allow this grounding cord to support you in letting things move and loosen within your body.
Releasing if they're ready to go,
But not forcing it.
Breathing,
Observing here in the present.
Not getting too attached to where these energies are coming from,
Or how old they are.
But just letting them go or move.
And before we come out of this space,
Let's go ahead and recharge you with some of your energy to replenish you and all of yourselves.
To do this,
Here's another simple tool.
You can imagine a big golden sun above your head.
And in the center of that sun,
There's this big powerful magnet.
The magnets job is to pull everything that belongs to you.
All of your energy that you've scattered all about in the past days,
Weeks,
Months,
Years.
It can pull all of that back to fill up your giant golden sun with really golden energy that belongs to you.
Again,
Noticing where this energy is coming from without getting attached,
Judging,
Needing to know all the answers,
Welcoming it back with gratitude.
And when your sun is full,
Either reaching up to pop it or pour it into the top of your head so that it can flow drop by drop into your body.
Replenishing all of your cells.
Traveling down your arms to the tips of your fingers.
And traveling all the way down your legs to the tips of your toes.
And everywhere in between.
Make sure you're breathing,
Welcoming this energy back.
Allowing it to energize you in a grounded way.
Taking another breath or two without hurrying out of this space.
Knowing you'll be back.
This is a space you can visit.
Gently opening your eyes if you allow them to close.
Slowly reorienting yourself to the space around you.
Taking another breath and getting ready to move on about your day.
