This meditation is designed to help you raise your vibration through a combination of affirmations,
Loving-kindness,
And gratitude.
This is a great meditation to do if you're feeling overwhelmed,
Anxious,
Or if you could just use a little extra self-love in your life.
Find yourself in a comfy,
Cozy place with a little bit of privacy and about 15 minutes of free time.
I recommend doing this guided meditation first thing in the morning or anytime you feel like you need a pick-me-up.
Let's get started.
We'll begin in a comfortable,
Seated position with hands resting on the thighs,
Palms down.
Gently close the eyelids and allow the attention to move inward,
Taking stock of what's going on for you energetically right now.
Know that anything that's on your mind,
Any ruminations,
Any to-dos,
Any future events you're worried about,
Allow it to just slide away as you bring your focus to your breath.
With your awareness gently focused on the movement your breath creates as it blows through your body,
Allow each exhale and inhale to slow down and become more equal in length.
Breathing in for a count of five.
Breathing out for a count of five.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
In.
Out.
Beginning at the top of your head with the scalp,
Start to relax your body as you breathe deeply.
First,
You relax the scalp,
The forehead,
The muscles around the eyes,
The muscles around the ears,
The jaw,
Unclench your jaw.
Relax your shoulders,
Feel your arms hanging limp and heavy in their sockets.
Relax the chest,
The muscles in your abdomen,
Feel them moving with each deep breath.
Unclench your hips,
Your thighs,
Calves.
Relax the soles of your feet.
Imagine now that you're breathing in and out through the soles of your feet.
Feel them relaxing more and more.
Feel total body relaxation now from the tip of your head to your toes.
Feeling even more relaxed with each exhale as if subtle waves of calm are washing over you with every breath.
Feeling all tension dissolve completely with every exhale.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Feeling totally relaxed.
Shift your awareness to the palms of your hands now,
Feeling them heavy on the tops of your thighs.
If your palms aren't resting on your thighs,
Gently bring them to this position,
Continuing to feel increasing calm with each breath.
Feel the heat in the space right in between your palms and your thighs.
With your next exhale,
Notice as your palms begin to feel like they're melting into your thighs,
Feeling more rooted and stable in your body.
With each exhale,
Your palms become more anchored to your thighs.
Your thighs become more anchored to the surface beneath you.
And your body as a whole feels more anchored to the support of earth beneath you.
Feeling totally centered,
Stable,
And rooted.
Allow your palms to slowly lift off your thighs now and bring them to rest right over your belly button with one palm over the other.
Let your arms relax in their sockets again.
Feel as palms rise and fall with each wave of deep breath.
In this position,
With hands gently resting over the solar plexus,
With breath flowing effortlessly,
Repeat the following affirmations with me in your mind.
I relax and let life flow joyously.
I relax.
I relax and let life flow joyously.
I open my heart completely to the possibilities of life.
I open my heart completely to the possibilities of life.
I am a light in my life and in the lives of others.
I am a light in my life and in the lives of others.
I am loved.
I am loved.
In the infinity of life where I am,
All is perfect,
Whole,
And complete.
In the infinity of life where I am,

Bring your focus back to your breath,
Allowing the energy of those statements to steep for a few moments.
Now,
Allow your palms to gently float away from your belly and let them rest over your heart center now,
One palm on top of the other.
Focus all of your awareness on your heart space,
The area warmed by the heat of your palms.
Imagine as if your breath is moving in and out from this space.
Begin to imagine a glowing orb of energy in the center of your chest.
It may be glowing a soft green,
Pink,
White,
Or golden light.
As you continue to breathe effortlessly,
The glowing orb begins to grow and shine brighter and brighter.
Notice how it feels.
Now,
I want you to imagine someone or something you hold very dear to your heart,
As if you're wearing a heart-shaped locket around your neck with a picture of this person or memory.
With every inhale and exhale,
Allow the feelings of love and joy they bring you to amplify.
Allow the glowing in your heart space to continue to grow and expand as you feel more and more love for that special person or memory.
The glow may begin to move into the rest of your body,
Igniting each cell with glowing light.
Let the light expand past your body now until you're sitting in the orb of glowing,
Loving light.
Breathe and feel more and more at peace as the orb continues to grow.
Continue visualizing yourself sitting in your orb and gently lift your top hand off your chest.
While keeping one palm pressed against your heart,
Allow the other to slowly float to hold the space at the nape of your neck,
So your hand is gently cupping just below your hairline with your elbow pointed away from you.
Feel the comfort of this pose for a few moments.
While you sit in this loving embrace,
Allow yourself to let go of any self-judgment or negative self-talk you normally might engage in that just doesn't serve you.
This may be as simple as saying to yourself,
You're not guilty,
Or I love you.
Continuing to inhale fully and exhale completely,
Allow yourself to feel gratitude for yourself and your life.
For the next few moments,
Silently tell yourself everything that makes you grateful to be you,
To be living your life,
Including thanking yourself for taking the time to go within and raise your vibration with this meditation.
Music will continue for a little while.
Once you feel your meditation is complete,
You may slowly bring your awareness back to your body and the room you're in.
Please stay as long as you need.
