Good morning.
Welcome to this short and sweet meditation.
This is a great way to start your day with intention and good vibes.
Let's get started.
Find a comfy seat back straight so you're able to breathe fully and completely,
Arms and legs,
However you like,
And eyes gently floating closed.
We'll begin with three deep breaths to settle into this space.
So on the inhale,
Breathe in fully through the nose deep into the belly,
Holding at the top for a moment,
And exhaling with a sigh.
Let's do that two more times.
Inhaling deep,
Hold,
Exhale.
Inhale,
Ah.
One last time.
Let's make this the juiciest breath yet.
Inhaling,
Filling the chest and belly completely,
Holding for a moment,
And exhaling fully with a sigh.
You can breathe naturally now and take a moment to feel the difference in your body after just three deep breaths.
Continuing to breathe naturally in and out through your nose,
Let's do a quick body scan to release tension.
It's funny how as soon as we wake up,
Even if we're feeling nice and relaxed,
We tend to hold on to tension in our bodies.
Starting first thing in the morning to release and relax in those areas helps us remember to do so throughout the rest of the day.
So,
Beginning at the top of your head,
Begin mentally scanning your body.
You can imagine a wave of pale blue light slowly washing down your body,
Relaxing each muscle it passes.
And pay special attention to the muscles around your mouth,
Jaw,
Your shoulders,
And your belly.
Once you reach your feet,
Take a nice relaxing breath or two as you focus just on your feet.
Many people actually hold on to tension in their feet,
So breathing into this place helps us to instantly feel more grounded and centered.
Continue breathing naturally.
As thoughts come up,
Allow yourself to focus your awareness on your breath and just do that as many times as necessary.
Each time you notice yourself carried away with a thought and you bring yourself back to your breath is a little victory in your meditation in your day.
Continuing to inhale fully through the nose and exhaling completely through the nose.
Awareness on the breath.
Your breath is your life force,
So feel the calm energy it provides you.

Before moving on to the rest of your day,
Let's finish off this meditation by setting an intention.
Intentions are like gentle daily reminders of how we want to show up in the world and to be our best version of ourselves.
And by setting an intention in the morning before the hustle and bustle of the day begins,
You set for yourself an energetic baseline of,
Okay,
This is what I want to feel today.
This is how I want to feel.
So how do you want to feel today?
Take the next few moments to figure that out and say your intention silently to yourself,
Repeating it three times so it really sticks.
You may want to bring your hands up to rest on your heart to lock it in physically as well as mentally.

Let's take one last deep breath together to end this meditation and go into our day feeling relaxed,
Grounded,
And energized.
